So before I even start this video. Let’s just get this out there: This video is not sponsored and this a real skincare product review and when I say real skincare product review, I mean I tested this product for a year. Not a week, not a day or a couple of hours after use
You have to give skincare products time to really see if it’s working for you and I’ve used so many products throughout my years. Especially when I had very bad acne.
But that’s a different topic for another video so today I’m going to go over how tiege hanley matches up against my drugstore products that I’ve been using for years.
So first up is the cleanser: I’ve swapped between two cleaners and that is the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and la roche posay efflacor.
If my skin is feeling dry, I would wash my face with cetaphil but I never liked using it because it felt like muddy water running through my face and my skin didn’t feel clean after using it.
Now as for the effaclor, I have to say that this is a very solid face wash, especially if you have sensitive or acne prone skin. This cleanser lathers up really well and cleansed my skin without any irritation.
My only complaint is that it can be a little over drying at times so I don’t leave it on for too long.
Now as for the tiege hanely cleanser, I would say it has a great balance of not being to runny as cetaphil and not too lathery as the effaclar. It doesn’t lather much but it stays on the skin when I apply it and it does not dry out my skin once it’s washed off.
Next is the spf. Now I’ve been using Olay sensitive skin spf for over 10 years and it’s always been my go to and was very difficult to replace with any other spf in the market.
When I revisited this product. I realized what made me resort to the tiege hanley spf. As you can see it goes on very white and it takes some time to really settle it in until the whiteness goes away. This can be time consuming when you are in a rush, especially when you are trying to be gentle at the same time and not to mention the white tint/driplets I would develop if I start to perspire throughout the day.
As for the tiege hanely spf, I only need a nickel sized amount and the whitness disappears instantly as soon as I apply it. And I’m impressed how little of the spf I need. I would say it’s my favorite product outta the whole tiege hanley line. It’s very light and concentrated and a little goes a long way.
Same thing goes for their nighttime moisturizer, the’ve made some major changes to it since they first launched. And before tiege hanley,I used the generic cvs moisturizer, which goes on very greasy and was very heavy but I didn’t care cuz I only used it at night and it kept my face moisturized throughout the night.
Now I can’t compare their eye cream, exfoliator and serum to any other drugstore product because they don’t sell those type of products but for my anti-aging product I used neutrogena’s age fighter during the night time.
Eh didn’t feel this product did much for me. It smells like a sunblock and it’s very greasy which is why I only used it at night.
I can’t compare it to the tiege hanely aging serum because it’s not a moisturizer, it’s a very light serum, that again goe son clear and dries up very quick as you start to spread it around.
But to wrap this up, I have to give it to tiege hanley here. These products are great and this isn’t coming from a fanboy of Aaron or anything like that. It’s just coming from a dude that has found a skincare product that works and that I enjoy using. #TiegeHanley #alphaM #AaronMarino

You’re just making false claims now. The product is not a scam and have yet to find any of those claims made by dermatologist. I can care less about making money off it so please share those posts.

I'm 51 and not sure exaclty what the eye cream actually does? I haven't noticed anything. The same thing with the serum? I haven't noticed much. The problem with these videos is that most reviewers are young guys that don't need the eye creams and such because they don't have wrinkles, etc.

I personally think you don’t need it. A good wash, moisturizer, spf and weekly exfoliation should be more than enough. You are ahead of the game. I wish I started earlier

Nothing wrong with trying new products in the market, especially if you have different skin issues like I do. As of right now, I’m currently not using Tiege anymore and started medical grade stuff.

    • @AssembledStyle
      @AssembledStyle  9 месяцев назад

Cerave is good for sensitive skin and the ingredients are simple and clean. I like a good lather on my cleaner so I stopped using that awhile ago but I can’t knock it though. Many people had success with it.
