Per Oregon state laws, KY nurseries are not allowed to ship soil to Oregon due to Japanese Beetle concerns. We are, however, able to ship bareroot trees in the Spring.
Hey brother! I found over on GRF and would like to get at least 10 of your grafted pawpaw! I was curious when they will be available for sale! I don't want to miss out! I really appreciate what you guys are doing for pawpaws! Thank you in advance my friend! BTW I have a 4 yr old seedling that just set a cluster of 5 fruit! I'm so excited! I've only tasted our native Florida pawpaws! I'm can't wait to try triloba!
Hello, I'd suggest joining our notification list near the bottom of our home page. www.peacefulheritage.com Pawpaws will be back for sale in June! They go extremely fast.
@@PHNursery I totally missed them this year! Never new they were sold in June. Seems such a wierd time of year when all other fruit trees are sold in fall or spring, not middle of summer. next year I'll be ready
Hello there what a waste on the ground there and you pick them just for the seeds and the rest of the pulp you just throw away they are monsters all right l am just ripping my hair out what variety is it .
Haha no waste my friend if we didn't gather the seeds they would all rot on the ground. Take a deep breath. This variety is KSU BENSON. peacefulheritage.com/shop/pawpaw-trees/grafted-pawpaw-trees/ksu-benson-tm-pawpaw-tree/
These are awesome fruits. I have two ultra select seedlings that I received from you in July of 2020. Are those from the same mother trees? They are doing great by the way.
@@PHNurseryBenson is the first one in the video? Also, what is the minimum tree spacing you recommend? How far apart are the trees in the video? Thanks!
@@janetzimmerman Hi Janet, Yes That is KSU Benson. Minimum spacing is 6-8'. 10-12' is ideal. No further than that really for best pollination prospects.

Good question. Under good care and good climate for pawpaws, seed can produce edible fruit in about 5-6 years. Pretty fast for a fruit tree actually. We sell this seed on our website www.peacefulheritage.com

A quick question. I also bought an Al Horn from you. Is the rootstock from these same quality trees or where is the rootstock from?
It's often the same genetics as you see in this video, but sometimes not. That's why it's used for rootstock, it just depends on what we have.
Why don’t you ship to Oregon?
Do you sell the fruit seems like a lot of it goes to waste?
