I missed the ending, how did it finish, I fell asleep half way through cause the music and sea in the background made me nod off so relaxing 🤣🤣... In honesty such a great interesting video... You see most of the railway line between Portadown and richhill cause the road almost runs adjacent to it but from the Richhill to Armagh side of it is amazing and how open the line is,hardly a building near it... This should definitely open again

I would anything to see the line from Armagh to Keady reopened. To see a steamtrain going across Tassagh Viaduct would be unreal.

Great to watch this - 20 minutes of pure chill. When I worked for Hovis I traveled between Portadown and Armagh many times. I was always curious about the old railway bridges etc. along the side of the road. It's fantastic to see what it actually looks like. Thanks for sharing it.👍

This is one line that really needs to be reopened again right away so you can get the train all the way from Belfast to Armagh in comfort. The present line means you get to Portadown then have to mess around with walking from the train station to the bus station. Then you have to wait around for a bumpy bus from Portadown to Armagh and do the same on the way back. I also personally think if this line was reopened it also should run on towards Enniskillen town centre.

In general N.I.’s railways need to come back, especially for County Down. The 4th (I think) most populous county in Ireland, which only contains one train line I think from Belfast to Bangor which doesn’t even start in County Down. And Tyrone and Fermanagh have 0 trains.

And then go on from Enniskillen up to Derry/Londonderry!!!

This is fantastic! Thanks for filming! Isn't it striking how open and undeveloped the route is? Hardly anything has been built on it. Such an opportunity staring us in the face.

Would love to do this with the line that ran through my town unfortunately too much has been built over it

The people who built over the trackbed- houses, sheds, etc- did they have permission? Who owned/owns the original land?
