Man I really dig these talks, both you younger dudes imo are doing it right, study the cultures that came before and embrace it, embed it into part of your legacy now, respect.
Whats up Cycle. I remember you & IMOK crew back at SVA in the early 90's. Graf Flix, Video Graf, Graf magazines, etc. 90's was off the hook in NYC. Time is flyin. Keep rockin it steady. Besm, Rue, Woe, Hipe, Pace, Haze, EO, & PHG crew - Sango
Much respect to all of you! .. man this is the type of conversation i enjoy. Cycle seems like a really cool, humble guy. .. type of dude id like to chill with, i can relate with on almost everything he says.
Cool shit. Humble dude. Mike Vall shirt dope. This was much more of a conversation than an interview. I woulda asked about the crew. Kaws Gaze Emit etc.anyway a good one. I love ny Old ny Hip hop and hardcore. Graff and sk8ing Yuppicide Nyhc AsickStaysickAlwaysick
Great episode. Conversation towards the end about physical vs digital media reminded me of Marshall McLuhan’s - The Medium is the Message. I loved Cycle’s comment about reading kindles and it made me think of the process of reading a book. Each page you turn is an accomplishment mentally that you just don’t get from a screen. Much love and appreciation for what you’re doing.
This is my favorite interview so far and I might be a bit biased but oh well. Cycle has still got some stuff running at the wall of fame in my area too.
for real! im from toronto but was blown away by the amount of work sake's done in MTL the few times ive been there. would like to hear his perspective on things... . montreal has a great graff scene from my experience... Castro aslo is a beast.
