Honestly that first round is why I love when Chilled plays Among Us. Regardless of whether or not he is bad or not, he makes it into a fun round in general. Opens a Murder Shop, does a monologue, puts out a script for the next Jerry B film. The list goes on.
I love that it just seems to be a universal rule that the amnesiac is a weirdo until they get a role. Including just pairing up with a baddie to get a role.

If they were both aiming to win, there's no way the baddie would let the amnesiac live because the amnesiac is a witness and can turn on them at any moment. Also they're on opposite teams once a role is taken. The only reason why the two pair up is just to have some fun and mess around.

Oh did they add snipeable modifiers? If they did I think the addition of Bait is smart, Lovers is fine. Diseased is odd to me, and Torch feels off too - one of the benefits of Torch was Impostors being able to claim it as an excuse for extra vision, no? Maybe I misinterpreted that conversation though. ANYWAY I'm very excited for another video full of deception! EDIT: Seems they added all crewmate modifiers to be able to be assassinated. Feels kinda dumb to add Diseased as it's quite underpowered already. But also it never really comes up so I guess it ain't a deterrent. Torch is actually fine because of all the new neutrals too, in that case - since people are less likely to claim Torch now there's more chance for a misfire. I kinda feel mixed about Lovers? Feel like they're already so close to death constantly, removing them from the guessing pool was almost a blessing aha. Might encourage better Lover plays than stacking/hiding though which wouldn't be bad. Bait is deffo the best new addition, gets rid of people claiming it in meetings which is a bit lame for sure.
@@AHnnssy I think you misunderstand - I meant adding modifiers to the assassin pool. As in, making it possible for assassin roles to snipe modifiers instead of roles, which is a new update.
@@AHnnssy Lovers used to be guessable because it was a role in and of itself, not a modifier. But yes, it did use to be guessable (and much, much harder to win as too, without a unique role ability). Really the issue with adding Lovers to the Assassin pool is that it's a very varied modifier - you can either have a super underpowered pairing of two weak crew roles or a super broken combo such as Impostor/Mayor or Medic/Swapper. I'm not opposed to the new update as some combinations really do need another counter, but also it just makes it really hard for the weaker combos to win as a result.

If I really need to clarify more in depth as to why, then here: One, outside of Bait there's literally no trace of revealing your alignment of Good, Bad, or Neutral (But I also said Bait should be allowed to get shot, not only for this but also because people use it as a scare tactic). Two, just the fact they aren't allowing every modifier to be shot is proof enough. It literally implies that the balance would be off if they did all of them. Three, they are literally NOT roles. There are many examples, but a prominent one I will use is Torch. Say you see someone kill with the Lights off, and then you begin to get sussed for your vision. You are pretty much forced to reveal that you are Torch or else you'd be viewed as Glitch, Imp, etc. But then what? You get shot as Torch, they get a free kill while going down. If they misfire, it makes it clear that you are evil, meaning you can't even fake claim it. It is bad design, and has nothing to do with in-game skill.

On submerge map a way to make it a little funny and difficult is each floor only has a certain amount of mask for the sabotage.
