It can seem as if my interaction with my parents, my sister, her sons and others has been meant to get me to feel as miserable as possible, as bad as possible about my life. It can seem like what they say to each other has been meant by some entity to make me feel as bad as possible about my life. I wish I could get help in getting into another situation. I have a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Arizona(1995) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix(2001). But American society treats me like I know nothing. I have some cash in a bank, but no vehicle and no apartment. I do live with my parents after having worked in a foreign country. Facebook suspended my account near the beginning of October for violating unspecified community rules. I have been unable to relate to most people in Las Vegas in person. There is only one reason I am living here.

I found it interesting that the Federal Resrve and/or Labor Department never adjusted the unemployment rate when they announced in mid-August that 812,000 jobs that they thought were created, were actually never created. The first week in August they said that the unemployment rate was 4.3%. A week later they announced the 812,000 jobs that were not, but they didn't change the 4.3% unemployment rate. THis made no sense to me and now they claim the unemployment dropped down to 4.2% last week. Completely dishonest

I've had a few interviews for local CDL driver positions, yet to get a position. 10 years of experience, solid clean background, been with the same OTR company 6+ years now. Trying to find something local where I live near Des Moines, and the opportunities are just tight. More applicants that positions available it seems especially for local work. My inbox is getting flooded for OTR position but I've no interest, been OTR living in my cab for 10 years now.. Hopefully here eventually I can find a decent local opportunity. I'm happy with my current company, they just unfortunately don't have any opportunities for local home everyday work I'm looking for. A bit discouraging I know I've got great qualifications, just too much competition for positions. At least I'm still young, 33. One issue I see out here in CDL work is a vast amount of drivers out here are pushing retirement age, which could spell problems eventually. Quite a few people coming out of retirement as well because of how bad the economy is..
