even before the buff, with max dmg increase from passive and his first skill, he was one of if not the heaviest hitters in the game, especially against blue units, his sickle barrage just hits way too damn hard, and im glad, jack was one of my favorite characters, mostly cause of his fruit cause a mammoth fruit sounds so fuckin cool, and kaido got his rightful throne back as the best defender, the buffs were necessary.
Him having his skill 2 means that he has an unstoppable nullification of status effects, stagger, down, and even knockback that is already op if you know when and how to use it. Having anything more would be overkill for sure, something he doesn't need lol.
It's cus they were absolutely powercliffed beforehand lol. Kaido was irrelavent a couple months after he came out. That skill 1 will always be easy to dodge, and not enough damage for how hard it is to land lol. Skill 2 is much better though.

Jack skill 2 before buff feel like getting chase by a truck Jack skill 2 after buff feel like still getting chase but at full speed. Srsly each time seeing buff jack charging at you kinda feel yeah you done.
He's good, but there's so little you can take. My level 100 jack can eat two Kamusari (Love the defense buff ) and still get the heals for it back and the damage difference is crazy high and different from a level 80.
@stormychaser3015 bro he is nightmare for most units 😂 but jack can't really do much to to her units if you don't have very high skill like I just use yassop and jack just dies from a single perfect dodge
@ I don’t mean to be a negative Nancy but what good is he as an attacker knowing what the attacker’s role in the game. He doesn’t even have the standard 30% damage increase trait for attackers. He feels more like a laid back attacker/defender and in my opinion attackers should have the ability to be aggressive not passive
