There a lot of other people in supporting roles that went on to be bigger after as well.

Tim Curry is a absolute Legend. When you watch this in theaters you got only one of the endings. So when you talked about it. "Did you see miss peacock was the killer?" People are like what? It was Scarlett
They made two big mistakes when filming this. 1. In the study when Mr. Body is killed you can clearly see quite a large fire burning in the fireplace both before and after Mr. Body turns out the lights. Even with the lights out there should have been enough light to clearly see who murdered him (or attempted to murder him as it turns out). 2. When the motorist is on the phone in the lounge he is in front of a mirror that clearly shows the fireplace in it. There is no way anyone could have sneaked up behind him after using the secret passage that comes out of the fireplace without the motorist seeing them in the mirror.
There would be dinner parties that played games like this. “Who Done It?” My mom once went as Miss Scarlet and dad went as Colonel Mustard. Mom looked Gorgeous and dad looked amazing. When it was their turn I wasn’t allowed around the house because I would bother the clues. I was really little and curious. Obviously the friends would be told what rooms they weren’t allowed in before everything started. Sounded so fun. Some clues were real some fake. Hosts didn’t play because they had set it up themselves. And to help the game continue when the group got stuck. Each given an envelope telling them whether they are the killer and what weapon they used so they could play like a criminal would. Sneaky and turn the clues to others. Like said, sounded so fun.
The board game is unofficially based on Agatha Christie's play _The Mousetrap_ - which influenced this flick a lot. If you ever get a chance to see the play (no movie of it, oddly), it's one the *OG* whodunnits.
I enjoy watching reactions to Clue. They're probably my favourite videos on RUclips because its my favourite movie, and so fun to watch people experience it for the first time. I'm very impressed with what you picked up on. Most don't. - "I wonder if you go back you can see someone missing when they're talking to Yvette" - "If there's a secret passage behind one of the paintings, someone could have stabbed the cook and ran back." - "Well Peacock had the knife in front of the door when the lights came on."' (While not immediately a clue to the real solution, I always interpreted it as she was already planning on killing her former cook.) - "Something's going on with Mr. Green"
that was the logic for why they wanted to send it out to different theaters so it would get return views due to friendly arguments and bets. it got scrapped for the same reason. the flames from the side of her face was adlibbbed and left in.
I've watched this reaction a few more times and I've begun to focus on the "missing moments" from the editing process and I have to ask: is it bad that I know the response line to "is everything alright Mrs. Ho?" is "Dinner will be ready at 6:30?" Do "Clue" nerds exist? Cause I am one.

I would have loved that back in the day, before social media. Just chatting with friends like "hey, did you see this?" and someone else would have a different ending. Genius! 😂
You're correct. In 1985 when this movie came out, it was sent to different theaters with the different endings. It was printed in the newspaper movie listings weather a particular theater was showing ending A, B, or C. They did that for a few reasons. 1, it's just plain cool that they have all the possible endings to begin with. Also, they knew that people would be talking about the movie after they saw it, and they didn't want anyone saying too much and giving away the ending. And 3, it was also intended to get people to see the movie multiple times at different theaters. When this movie came out, it's performance at the box office was disappointing. Now however, it has a cult following.
Right on! I looked up that song and honestly don't think I've ever heard of it. 😂 So not only did I miss a lot of movies, I also don't know a lot of music that isn't rap, as tragic as that sounds.

Love this movie. So much fun and funny!! Great reaction. Mr. Green was right, he didn't do it!
Tex Murphy!? Man, I miss Tex Murphy. Fave computer games as a kid.
I'm glad someone knows what I was talking about! 😂 Love all those FMV games!
PS I LOVE what a mystery hound you are and how u are always looking fer clues...and that is the brilliance of this film is it's ability to mix humor with mystery...and all 3 endings work!
For a mystery movie with humor and an awesome lead couple I suggest a series of 6 movies:
The Thin Man - 1934
After The Thin Man - 1936
Another Thin Man - 1939
Shadow Of The Thin Man - 1941
The Thin Man Goes Home - 1945
Song Of The Thin Man - 1947
Awesome, thank you!
One of my favorite stealth jokes is that Plum works for UNO WHO (“you know who”)!
Missed that one, nice!
@@JayBondReacts Also, the repeated joke of them getting stuck in tight spaces is a reference to the fact that two players cannot occupy the same space in the board game!
If you love who done it's. Then the 1973-74 movie 10 little indians. Which actually I think is a remake. Of a British made film from the 40's tittled, And Then There We're None Starring Oliver Reed, Elke Summer and Sir Richard Attenborough. Definitely well worth a view and reaction ! Amazing plot twist at the end !
Awesome, thank you!
Such a great reaction! Loved it!
Thank you so much!
I haven't seen it since it came out. It had a lot of humor like Airplane. Madeline Kahn, as always, was fabulous. RIP. She was in Blazing Saddles as Lily Von Schtupp. I've always loved Tim Curry. A great cast all around. I bet the editing was very hard. Good job! I'm hoping someday you'll react to Gone With the Wind, my favorite movie of all time. I really enjoy your reactions!
Thank you so much! Madeline Kahn was great in Blazing Saddles. I actually watched that after someone recommended it here. I may react to Gone With The Wind at some point as I've never seen it, but it's not on my immediate list at the moment.
When this was released, theaters got one of the three different endings.
Bit of trivia for you. The singing telegram girl who was shot was Jane Wiedlin, famous for the track Rush Hour.
Right on! I looked up that song and honestly don't think I've ever heard of it. 😂 So not only did I miss a lot of movies, I also don't know a lot of music that isn't rap, as tragic as that sounds.
@@JayBondReacts What can I say, the 80's are my decade lol.
Don't feel too bad though. She was pretty much a 1 hit wonder.
More famous for being a member of The Go-Go's in the early 1980s.
Why is Howard Hessman (FBI Chief) not in the credits? It’s always confused me.
Great videos
Long live Dr. Johnny Fever
Dude these videos are great. Can’t wait to see your reaction to Rocky and Die Hard
Thank you! Excited to see what all the hype is about with those 2!
The game had secret passages too.
Mr Body is Lee Ving from that little punk band Fear.
This is how you play the game clue …. Loved playing it…. And when the movie came out I was 10 … it was awesome …. They had a interactive version game of clue ..
But didn’t really work out … shame it was ok…
Great reaction as always.
Try Murder by Death or the Ten Little Indians.
You will enjoy them both.
Keep in up and have fun.
Yo, one of my faves 🤞🏾🖤
Mr. Green was the only innocent one...
Or was he? He did kill Nobody and Wadsworth in the last ending. 🤔
@@JayBondReacts he's an fbi agent who shot an armed suspect.... wasn't the killer
@@JayBondReacts your reaching
@@EMal-mf9pc I am. Let me reach!
Similar style flicks that are fun are Oscar & Noises Off. Thx for reaction

Hell yea!
carrie fisher was suppose to be casted as miss scarlet
Lesley Ann Warren did such an incredible job as Miss Scarlet I can't imagine another actress playing that part, not even the great Carrie Fisher.
@@crystalsnow1138 Carrie was first casted in the role but sadly went into rehab so Lesley took over. But yes Lesley did a good job.
The dvd is cool because you can choose to do a random ending.
Oh that's fun!
None of the "solutions" is correct actually!!
What do you mean? The last ending it said "this is what actually happened".
@@JayBondReacts watch the movie again, who got which weapon, who had the motive to kill which victim, who was where when the killing happens. You'll see.

”And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Jesus loves you so much ✝️❤️ Have a blessed day!
Fun Fact. Miss Peacock was the cat lady in Jeepers creepers 2001.
