Went many years ago as a teenager with some friends, stayed at a campsite at bohinj lake, we swam ever morning before we did anything else, spectacular experience and will be going back with my son next time
I’m going to Slovenia mid April and I’m probably going to stay 2-3 weeks, Slovenia has been on my radar for a while and I can’t wait to explore this country
Oh my goodness, I cant believe you did this in one day. Bf and I are planning a trip for March and I am worried about not having enough time in Slovenia. We are planning 3-4 days there: day 1 arrive and see the Predjama castle and cave, day 2- lake bled and other parts of national park? (Not sure yet). Days 3 and 4 travel back home? ...We will not have our own vehicle so at the moment I have to see how far each location is and how to get there. What is the name of the bus station you used?
Diana - it’s good to hear you’re visiting Slovenia! 🇸🇮 3-4 days is definitely not enough time... maybe consider on day 1 the castle and cave and then continue on to Piran to stay for a night. The next morning explore Piran and then head to Bled and arrive in the afternoon with enough time to walk around the lake and experience sunset and stay the night. On the 3rd day you can check out Bohinj and then head back to Ljubljana for the night. On the 4th day head home... this itinerary is all made possible if you have a car which I would recommend renting as the roads are in good conditions in Slovenia. Hope this helps! 🤙🏽
You’re welcome. I actually don’t use data when I travel. I just download Google Maps and Maps.Me beforehand on Wi-Fi and use them offline! Never had any issues
JaceVibe thank you for the clarification. I didn’t even know Lake Bohinj existed until a day before my trip so I appreciate your understanding with the mispronunciation! 🤭
Do you think after all the time I spent in Slovenia (check my other videos), that I think people in Slovenia speak Russian? The couple who I hitch hiked with in Bohinj were from Russia and thus that is why there was a 'Russian Translation' in the video... hvala!
This is the best raw , real , unfiltered video I have seen so far. Thank you for not adding filters
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽

Spend one of my favorite holidays there on the camping next to the lake! But maybe it was also because I met a beautiful Isreali girl there 😄❤
