As a foreigner When asking something in English in Korea, I think it is etiquette to ask him if he can speak English first.
The toilet paper thing. Most asian countries use bidets so tissue is usually used to just dry the area already cleaned/washed.

4:26 lmaooo yes that is common in a lot of asian countries, including mine. idk about other continents though. i was shocked to learn through the pandemic, how important tissue rolls, or rather "toiler paper", are to americans. we usually have bidet or pail/bucket with water to wash ourselves. we don't usually use tissue to wipe our poop unless the others aren't available.
