I would love to go to a place that takes their job seriously like this. As a social psychologist I totally understand what he is on about. It is weird that they do this every day but still screw it up though. Or do they change their menu every day? I also like how he dealt with the pizza himself. Very inspirational leader
Running F&B business is not easy. Especially when you are selling an expensive one, of course people will expecting a high quality food with a good taste that match its prices.
F&B is not an easy industry, if it’s not delicious and not visually appealing most people definitely wouldn’t go back. The chef isn’t wrong in anything, I actually agree because the results after his comment are definitely better. Support the Chef here. People pay for the food and the environment and given the hotel buffet environment it’s definitely not that cheap either. There needs to be standard to quality
The thing about f&b is everyone can eat so everyone can judge ...too many choices of restaurant, so the expensive restaurant need higher standard to meet the price
The chef has a point. As a customer, If the food is not good I will never return to the same place.

He is a good leader tho. He pointed at their mistakes and made the food much better but surely the employees so stressed and frustrated.
