- The good stuff starts at about 4 minutes into the video. During a recent visit to a commercial building with my colleague, Logan, we encountered a flooding situation in the basement caused by overflowing toilets. Upon inspection, the management advised us to allow the water to drain after removing the toilet. Following their instructions, I disconnected the toilet and let the water flow out. However, this resulted in fecal matter being exposed on the floor, which Logan found unpleasant.
To resolve the issue, I utilized my K-50 drain cleaning equipment to clear a blockage approximately 10 feet away. I proceeded to snake out the drain an additional 30 feet to ensure complete clearance. After successfully clearing the drain, I replaced the toilet with a new gasket and bolts, ensuring a secure and functional installation. Subsequent testing confirmed that the issue had been resolved.
As a final step, we retrieved paper towels and wet wipes that had contributed to the blockage from the drain. @RIDGID_Tools #blocked #cloggeddrain #plumber

That machine, the RIDGID K-50, has been the plumbers’ lifesaver for many decades. I can’t think of one thing they have changed on it since it first came out, other than the addition of a GFCI on the cord. If you buy one today, it looks identical to the one you bought forty years ago except for the cord. It is a wonderful machine that will probably stay the same for eternity because it is has always been a perfect design.
