I like how after hearing about how the Straw Hats are starving, and then hearing about the food in the fort, his first suggestion is to burn the fortress down.
Odd, you feel Jin "is the type of person" who feels he should be getting respect? Are you sure about the "type of person" bit? Jin is not only a Samurai but a Lord as well, i.e. he is the leader of his district. He would be used to taking charge, proposing solutions and putting them into action. To me, that's different from expecting respect, especially in a narcissistic way. He acts as a leader. As a result, he sometimes forgets that he isn't necessarily the leader of the people he is addressing.
Agree, I feel like he forgets he’s very disconnected from some peasants’ needs (they’re hungry and ill) as well, even though he genuinely cares about them. I also think his behavior is kinda trying to make up for his failures - showing confidence and commanding when he constantly think he’s failed his father, his uncle and his own code
@@annaclarallb Yeah, Jin cares, yet he's been living in an ivory tower and not in touch at that grassroots level. Not unlike some well-intentioned holders of political office, yeah? I think the characters are very well written and portrayed.
im in tears laughing at how a video or two back when chris was showing us the ghost perks and he was like "eh safe landing sounds nice but.... dunno if we'll use it" cut to 16:00 : breaking every single bone in both jin and nobu's bodies "....... you know what maybe we should get safe landing" nobu and jin deserve only the best (no broken bones caused by fall damage or boars)
Watching Odd always teaches me how not to handle fights. It's gonna be fun waiting for hin to get a handle on things or him just forgeting all the tools he has at his disposal. Am loving these videos tho
I think a peasant just means not of noble blood. which is also the reason, i think, why Jin thinks he should get respect. he is, after all, the Samurai Lords nephew.
He's the head of his own samurai family, but he still follows Lord Shimura because the guy is his Uncle and the head honcho of the samurai clans of Tsushima.
Bad guy is "Crawling away from his enemy" Odd: "Huh, wonder which way I'm supposed to go?" Follows road instead of where the dead guy was crawling from.
It’s really too much. Especially since it breaks “the vibe” which he asks to set. Put on headphones and turn up the volume isn’t that great if you get blasted with a commercial for a crazy TV show at double volume every four minutes... Shame.
Jin demands respect and expects it because he is the second in command on the island. Shimura is the Lord of Tsushima and Jin is his nephew making him the next leader. He is literally like vice president.
I know this is a messed up idea but they could eat the mongols. I think the Ronin armor is better than the Samurai Clan armor due to not needing damage reduction if the enemy is dead faster with Ronin Melee damage buff.
If you had checked out the ronin sets upgrades one more lvl, you'd see its 2nd upgrade is +30% melee damage. Beyond the sneak bonus, its all about doing damage fast- but not much protection- whereas the samurai set is tanky. p.s that end raid played out rather different for you - I'd already sneakily murdered everyone in there so they were kinda disappointed I didnt leave anyone for them lol.
Leave it to Chris to NOT stealth when it’s required, haha. I love it. And again we went about it differently, which is also great, since I can watch what your tactics are. Fun times
Odd's overwhelming problem for almost every game he plays: Never preparing for a fight. "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail." "The fool isn't the one who makes mistakes, the fool is the one who doesn't learn from them."
You met him when you raid a Mongol camp with Yuna, Odd. That first mission before Yuna went to Ozama(Azamo?) Bay. You released him from a Mongol prison.
awesome vid, excellent series....just one thing though ,i remember you once said ,in reference to the first last of us ,that you favour stealth segments ,over brute forcing ,which may be what the audiance wants from vids, but you felt wasn't the intention behind the game ....it feels like you tilt in the other direction now ....i feel like a douche for pointing it out ,i just think that it is as you once said ,a more refined albeit may be more time consuming and dull to watch ,since a main plot point is about jin's clash with violating the samurai code-by embracing stealth and gerilla tactics
Damn Odd can we change that sheathe on your katana it's honestly breaking the imersion like noone's definitely gonna take you seriously with that kind of getup
The side quests feel a bit more like RDR2 personally than Witcher 3, and I don’t think this game will be on their level story wise but the gameplay on this looks like it has them beat in that regard.
I agree except the Witcher 3 had two games to build off of n the side quest were always a pleasant surprise when they were just as interesting as the main story.
You keep comparing the game to Witcher 3. I get more an Assasins Creed vibe, in the sense that here and in AC I find the player character extremly boring The world however looks nice. Maybe a bit repetitive but pretty nice
Odd.. i love you as a content creator, but you're missing out on a big part of the game with your derpiness (who on earth thinks of chucking a bomb during a STEALTH segment). Seriously, you drew comparisons to the witcher and youre not wrong. These kinds of games are made to be expertly curated stories, layered with polished gameplay and a deep loyalty to getting immersed in the world and your part to play in it. You know normally setting the vibe and get comfortable for the ride is my jam completely, but with the immersion breaking i may have to give the rest of the lets play a hard pass. TL:DR dick around when you freeroam and (try) to take missions atleast somewhat serious.
"We'll have the archers cause a distraction and draw their attention so we can sneak to the boats"
Odd: *Throws a bomb*
"We need to sneak to the boat"
Odd: "Wait, are we supposed to sneak?"
Odd: *Throws bomb*
"This wasn't part of the plan, Jin!"
“I’m trying to save the archers” biggest lie. If you screw up just admit it.
I like how after hearing about how the Straw Hats are starving, and then hearing about the food in the fort, his first suggestion is to burn the fortress down.

Correct
@16:00 Nobu be like... and you said this was never going to happen ever again =(
Dezilen call PETA
@17:00 Can you upgrade Nobu to role after a long fall, that I'd pay to see.....
The worst part is Chris looked at it, saw it was going to be too much, and then did it anyway! Dude has no respect for his poor Nobu!
@@konradkurze1067 IKR!!! #JusticeForNobu !!!

I think a peasant just means not of noble blood. which is also the reason, i think, why Jin thinks he should get respect. he is, after all, the Samurai Lords nephew.
He is more than that, he is Lord Sakai, a samurai lord in his own right.
He's the head of his own samurai family, but he still follows Lord Shimura because the guy is his Uncle and the head honcho of the samurai clans of Tsushima.
Precisely.
Bad guy is "Crawling away from his enemy"
Odd: "Huh, wonder which way I'm supposed to go?"
Follows road instead of where the dead guy was crawling from.
I love Chris but sometimes it’s like his brain switches off. “My men will create a distraction while we steal a boat” *throws bomb*
"I wonder if we can go now." Decides to assassinate a few guys and then runs around looking for an artifact.
31:36 "Oh i am vibrating!"
Without context that would sound so odd!
I see myself out for bad joke and even worse pun...
Nine commercials in a 30 minute clip is a bit excessive RUclips!
Especially these new crazy long unskippable ones. Breaks all flow of watching videos on this platform
It’s really too much. Especially since it breaks “the vibe” which he asks to set. Put on headphones and turn up the volume isn’t that great if you get blasted with a commercial for a crazy TV show at double volume every four minutes... Shame.
If you find yourself at spring falls shrine at the entrance you will see 2 frog statues bow to the right side one probably works on either
Jin demands respect and expects it because he is the second in command on the island. Shimura is the Lord of Tsushima and Jin is his nephew making him the next leader. He is literally like vice president.
Thanks again Odd
Yessss I was thinking the same thing, this hits the Witcher 3 vibes real nice
"Burn it down! That's a viable tactic these days.". ...um... What?!
Everyone keeps telling you to fast travel but man don’t listen the game too beautiful n oooo so many collectibles, and that means keep on riding.
Exactly this!!
daamn just finished watching the last one! Thanks
I know this is a messed up idea but they could eat the mongols. I think the Ronin armor is better than the Samurai Clan armor due to not needing damage reduction if the enemy is dead faster with Ronin Melee damage buff.
Odd missing one of the flashbacks for killing the mongol by assasinating from the roof in the tower mission. Rip.

Lol Exactly.
at 7:20 u ran by a lot of stuff u could use. at least 5 bags of something
Whoo! This is gonna be fun! ^^
Um, 15:55, seriously? LMAO 😭
Definitely probably could have done that without clearing the beach....
Got distracted.. by murdering 😂
Literally only watching for the story because odd does nothing but piss me off with how dopey he is
Dangit Odd, I look away for a couple seconds and you're already on Part 12
