Love this album so much. Every time I see it at a store I buy it and give them away. I have probably bought over 15 copies. All my ex gf's have a copy. All my classmates that have cd players in their cars have a copy. I rock the green marble vinyl myself. PUSA!!

I was a french high school student when this record came out and I was really proud to be the only fan of this band in the whole school. What i love about it is the fact that because each instrument is minimalist, and because it is very well mixed, you can hear each and every string and percussion distinctly if you focus a bit. No wall of sound. That makes every play different. Every song is fun and with a happy feeling, that was also a difference with the melancholic/angry rock of that era. I had the chance to see tham in a samll venue at Paris, one of the best gig ever. I absolutely adore Jason's sound on his tiny drums, once again the mix is amazing, the fuzzy bassitar, the cool bluesy chords of Dave...
Damn dude/chick Great break down I’m listening to this atm with my mom (over video call 2000 miles apart) Question? French person or you went to France for studies? If you’re French, holy shit how’d you find this obscure 90’s American band!?
@@CutChemist4688 i am french, and when this album came out here it was on every radio ! You can still hear Lump nowadays on rock radios. They did some show here, all sold out, had a bucnh of interviews, and also they covered a French song, sining in French, that's the best way to win our heart you know :) More than that, we have a rule here saying that radios must play at least 40% of songs sung in french, and DJs were glad to play it as it would count as french music even if it's from a US band. I was obsessed with this album in middle school. The peaches song was mega popular with all my 13 and 14 year old school buddies. I'm 43 now and I can remember the lyrics with ease despite not having listened to this album in almost 25 years. The entire album is still a blast to listen to. I'm just an overgrown kid anyways
There were very few CD's/cassettes that had really good songs all the way thru, but this is definitely one of them. I was a junior in H.S. when this album came out and I still listen to it frequently.. Definitely one of the greats..

Crazy. Reminds me of all my old cassettes I still have. Wired Al Yankovic, PUSA, Coolio, MIB, Toy Story, Beavis and Butthead and Don’t Be A Menace. I still have all of them but Cake.
A hidden gem that became lost amidst a sea of alternative goodness (and mediocrity) smack in the middle of the 90s. I was obsessed with "Lump" when I was like, 6 years old. These guys don't get credit for their creativity. Extra points for being from Seattle and not trying to syphon the success of grunge.
One of the best albums of all time in my humble opinion. Wondering why this channel uploaded it. Looks like they haven’t uploaded anything in 5 years, and suddenly every song, plus the whole album. Not complaining of course!!!
