16:40 I cried over your video two days ago. I realized that I’m overstocking on many things as I am a widow and 68 years old. I asked heavenly father often if it’s OK to quit stocking or should I keep working on it. I feel the impression to keep working on it. When you said it was for the kids, and when you say we need to save the children, I know that their lives the truth I’m doing this for the children and the grandchildren I give them baskets, jellies and pickles and jams at Christmas time. I send them home with the garden, produce, canned, dried, and frozen when they come at Thanksgiving from that summers harvest. And now some of my daughters are asking to be taught some of those skills in earnest. We are doing it for our children whether we save them literally or spiritually. We always keep them in our prayers that they will listen to the Holy Ghost and up their own game. Thank you for sharing.
Moringa....home grown, washed, dehydrated/dried naturally, powdered, made into 0 pills. Take 3 a day. I literally haven't had a sore throat/cough in over 6 years!!! IF i start feeling puny I'll take 3 pills in am and 3 at lunch and 3 at pm. AND homegrown HONEY! Love ya'll in Christ! Get well soon! 💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏
Danny you and Wanda are two people that deserves every blessing the lord gives you I wish all of America had the same mindset as you all,god bless you all
Brother Danny and Sister Wanda, thank y’all so much for sharing how the Lord has richly blessed y’all with your two properties. It really blessed and encouraged me hearing what the Lord did for y’all. Thank y’all and I hope the Lord continues to bless y’all.
We had 2 properties which were 3 hours apart and in different states. We sold the suburban property and bought another property near our large property. It is so quiet here and we love it! These 2 properties are only about 7 minutes apart.
One of the best things that I enjoy riding horses through the woods and fields is that they do not scare the wild life. We can get within feet of deer and even coyotes, foxes, etc., when on horse back. probably because those same animals share the fields with the horses, so they comfortable with them. The deer even come and lick the horses salt block and drink from their water trough.
Thanks so much for this wonderful video; the part near the end how y'all depend on God. I love that, and so you don't walk in fear or in need. He meets your need. Praise God.
This was comforting a good journey. tY for sharing with us ...i love hearing how God manifests in people lives. Sounds like a dream spot ...pecan grove peace and quiet with God and nature
We've' also had influenza B with heavy fatigue, for about 2 solid weeks since December 27th, today it hit my oldest son. My husband was hit first and has been fatigued and had symptoms this whole time and failed to make it more than a few hours into his shift, and retested positive again late Tuesday night, receiving fluids in ER after he went tachycardic. We truly didn't even think he was dehydrated. We don't feel much better especially as fatigue goes, but...He is going to try doing one night of work tomorrow night and I am going to try returning to work Tuesday. Very glad to hear you two are on the mend.
What a great video❤. It blessed me. Glad you guys are feeling better. I like the azalea bush story. I only have a half acre piece of property but I had a lady stop by when I was at work and talk to my kids many years ago and she told them that she grew up on my little piece of land her name is engraved in the concrete of the slab of the garage. And although I told the kids don't answer the door. They did and they talked to her and she said that they used to have a cow back on the back end of my garden area. (Which was an answer to a question i had about that corner.)
I finally got to listen to the entire video beautiful story. Ive been watching on Patron since you two got Pecan Grove and to hear more of the fun back ground stories is just wonderful. I also want to thank the both of you I usually do go running to listen every Sat. night since my hubby travels for work it makes me have a little something to look forward to and not feel so..well alone. I do chores and listen as if I've got my buddies hanging out with me.
Wow. Pecan Grove sounds real awesome. I'm sure I'm not the only subscriber who would enjoy seeing more some more of that. Because of too many wildlife, I got myself 2 dogs little over a year to keep them out of my chicken barn and garden. The dogs are working out well too. Had several type critters digging around garden and fruit trees but not since the pups.
I believe that this was a more enjoyable experience than the live . But still enjoy the live also. Lots of decisions to be made in the future for pecan grove. Life is absolutely a journey. Best of luck with all of it . May the good lord continue to bless y’all
I just love everything y’all talk about. I’m 70 and am somewhat decent with computers, but it seems to me that everybody else is leaps and bounds, ahead of me, when new stuff comes out, that I need…😊
consider the moat, quote unquote, that Kevin and Sarah did on their property to keep deer out of their orchard and garden. 6 feet apart, fencing all the way around, double row of fence, and also take note of the motorized t post machine, or hell for that matter use the bucket on that fabulous tractor. My daddy had a Farmall cub that I was driving at 5 years old, loved that thing. Living Traditions Homestead is Kevin and Sarah. Thank you both for all that you do for us. Truly, thank you.
I am 59 years old, and have lived on a dead end property for 51 years, I get it, the west side of my property was always a wheat field, not anymore, they are building 191 homes in my backyard now. And I'm looking at 40 plus acres out in the country, because the noise! AAAAAHHHH, time to go!
I have lived that life of having two properties. It was fine as long as everything was going well, but just as soon as there is a problem, it just compounds the work. It's hard for one person to maintain two properties.
This is so true, especially for an aging couple. My husband and I are 79 and 71 respectively. We are 'enjoying'(?) age related health issues. We are on 22 acres of land that have been in my family since 1860. Most of that acreage is in woods, but 3-4 acres around our house is kept trimmed. We haven't been very successful with gardening, but keep trying. Right now, the tractor is down... We keep on, keepin' on... We do have woods surrounding us, so we don't see or hear the neighbors, and since we own the land, it won't be logged like what happened at DSH.
Sounds like a goodbye to me. It was so nice listening to you. I appreciate everything that you taught me and I love your personalities. Godspeed and God bless you.
I have used Sunn hemp as an alternative browse feed for deer with pretty good results. Take a look at it, it may help you or somebody else. My season is a little dicey for best results.
Danny and Wanda, We are so happy God is guiding and blessing you. It was wonderful to hear of his faithfulness to you both. Have a blessed season as we walk 2024 with God and whatever we face trusting him. ❤
Danny & Wanda, good to see you are both on the mend. You are most richly blessed. My Big question as I get older is: who will help when I cannot do chores? Without family right there to take over, or a really good friend or neighbor, I would be unable to do anything. This is why the old homesteads, had several additions on the main house to keep family close. Even if they have their own dreams other vocations or jobs, at least they are there to learn, watch and grow old with us. Shalom Walter
Danny and Wanda I just want to say how much I Respect the two of you and that I am so grateful to be able to watch your videos. I love them all but Porchtime is my favorite. May The Good Lord continue to Richly Bless you. Love you guys 😘
Don't apologize for the lengthy video. We love visiting with you and Wanda. I personally could spend hours talking with y'all. I'm like you in that I love my privacy and the quiet. I'm so happy that y'all are feeling better. You're always in my prayers. Love and hugs from Anna in Iowa
My take, Danny and Ms Wanda, is that God kept you at Deep South because WE NEEDED the knowledge that you have shared with us over the years. What a blessing! 🙏
I loved listening to you two share in this video. Your happiness with Pecan Grove just shines through! Miss Wanda, I'm with you about the toilet paper. I keep a years supply in my pantry and I don't let it go down. Lol! I loved listening to you talk about the deer and the chat you had with the man that planted the azalea bush that y'all wondered about. I figured you would be spending more time at Pecan Grove than Deep South because I've been following you two through the changes at Deep South. I was so sad when you lost all that shade from the trees being removed by new neighbors. I enjoyed you sharing how y'all have trusted in God for your needs. It was such a beautiful time listening to you both. I'm so happy to see you both taking the time to enjoy life a little more and that you both feeling better! Wishing you a happy, healthy New Year!
WISHING YOU BOTH THE BEST.HOPE YOU ARE BOTH FEELING BETTER.THANK YOU FOR TELLING US ABOUT YOUR NEW ENDEAVOR.MAY YOU HAVE BOUNTIFUL SUCCESS.GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.

Hi everyone! I'm glad to see you two feeling better!
Yep , there’s nothing better than having “space” around you. I wish everyone could know how great it feels!
This was a great video. I love your “stop and smell the roses” philosophy! It is so calming to sit and listen to the birds sing!

The wooded area around us has been completely removed in the last 40 years. Along with the farm land. The animals have no where to go
That's sad. They should leave corridors

I kinda wonder if one of the grand kids is coming to Deep South and Danny builds the cabin on grid at Pecan Grove.
I have used Sunn hemp as an alternative browse feed for deer with pretty good results. Take a look at it, it may help you or somebody else. My season is a little dicey for best results.

Hello from Beulaville North Carolina
