You'd never know they didn't like the game while playing it. Just goes to show that even a shitty game can be a blast to play when enjoyed with good friends.
In college, most people take a speech class where you give speeches and presentations. Also, if everyone in the Philadelphia area had to lose their accent in order to pass speech class, no one would graduate college.
No public list, but we keep one ourselves. Basically, if you want to submit a game email us at continueshow@gmail.com and tell us what you want to send. Then we'll let you know if we already have it. And we try and go back to older submissions before playing new ones.
Most evil suspension idea I've seen a teacher come up with was giving the victim an A4 sheet of graph paper (not usual square lines paper, that stuff with the really tiny squares) and telling him to put a dot in each one. And if he didn't fill the sheet in a week, she'd give him two the next week. And if he failed that, he'd just lose breaks. the graph paper was a way of punishing him in his own time. He could spread it out. Ingenius, if you ask me.
To those defending this game; one of the devs of this game commented on this back around when it was uploaded (the newer comment system has since made that comment disappear into the depths of this video's comment section, but it was a top comment before) and he apologized for the game they made. The devs even know it's a bad game. Just food for thought.
Paul if you like robot minotaurs so much, you should play Anarchy Reigns. There's one of those and he has a rocket hammer, most likely powered by propane.
Man, a lot of the people who worked at Zipperhead were so pretentious. It was like trying to go into Pearl art supplies. BLAH BLAH BLAH, I work at a store so I'm too cool for everyone. I did get a sweet Re-Animator shirt there though.
That's actually not a morning star. It's a flail. Both maces and morning stars are attached to a solid handle, the difference being that the former has, at most, flanges or hooks, and the latter has spikes. A flail has a length of chain between the bludgeoning head and the handle. Some flails are called "morning star flails" because the head is spiked, like that of a morning star, but Minatek's flail is relatively smooth, more like a wrecking ball. It is in no way a morning star.
Eh, I can't say I enjoyed this episode too much. There's a problem with going into a game blind when it's a touch more complex then your standard fare. If these three had looked into the instruction booklet just a little, or experimented with the different moves shown on the moves screen for just a few minutes (Edited offscreen) they could have found out the fun of severing limbs off your enemy. Also I admit I found it a little weird that they didn't notice those smaller meters below their health depleting around the same time those mysterious glassy coverings formed around their characters, with one word beside those meters: Shield. Controls in this game are awkward from what I've heard, but players have been able to enjoy it thoroughly if they mastered those controls. Perhaps another try would be in order, it would be interesting at any rate if they gave it once more into the breach so to speak.
screamingdizbusters Trust me I'm not a troll, if I was I'd be blindingly raging with pithy insults and NOT giving an exact reason why their format doesn't quite work with this type of game. I'm not trying to denounce the format, just that how it works is a little askew with a game that's a touch more complex then their usual fare. Now the shield comment might almost be considered an insult, but I honestly think most gamers would have looked at the screen carefully enough to see some cause and effect and figure the bar was correlating with the glassy covering.
***** A bit of overkill in your reaction, I merely stated a flaw in the formula of the show in relation to this type of game. If they were to try this same formula with other games that take a bit of time to learn properly with no help from a formal manual, they'd be just as likely to get little amusement as well. You assume nostalgia is the driving force behind my comment and misunderstand my intentions completely. I never even played this game, I just read about it.
I love you guys! This was my favorite game when I was young. I used to play it with my dad on the PlayStation all the time! This sub was worth it! (Btw, you guy's should play War Of The Monsters for the ps2!)
I REALLY wanna see these guys play Jojo's bizarre adventure all star battle. DIO vs Dio Brando. you just know they'd go straight for that match up, if they could.
I love the zipperhead building, with the zipper and the ants, I see it every time I go to South street but I don't know if there's anything IN it currently.
Awesome, thanks for that. I think we can both agree that the bulk of my point (being that it is most certainly not a mace) was correct, although I did think that maces were inherently blunt by all accounts. Thanks for the clarification on the morning star though. What a joy it is to teach and be taught. *Let us both adjust our glasses together.*
I did a bit of a look a few times but never had any luck: Is there a listing of the games people have sent you? Do you have a pretty large queue you go through in order, or do you just sort of pick games you've received on a whim? I've been wondering this for months now, haha.

love your show
We are honored sir.
You'd never know they didn't like the game while playing it. Just goes to show that even a shitty game can be a blast to play when enjoyed with good friends.
This is the single most hilarious, comforting, and widely-insulting comment ever. I love it.
In college, most people take a speech class where you give speeches and presentations. Also, if everyone in the Philadelphia area had to lose their accent in order to pass speech class, no one would graduate college.
Well that was hurtful. Thanks Internet. - Paul

Excellent insertion of your persona into this comment. Bravo.
Thanks! We feel like we've got a few even better ones on the horizon.
You're right. I must have missed that lesson in speech class... -Nick Murphy
Married. Done. Official. That's how the internet works right?
Having a birthday on a Wednesday is always nice, because you get a present from Continue!

Loving every single episode.......... You guys are the greatest
I just realized Josh looks a lot like the actor who played Vincent Can Gogh in the episode of Dr. Who, "Vincent and the Doctor."
Paul, Nick & Josh -- You guys did a great job on this week's episode, I was laughing so much that my actually face hurts now. THANKS! :)
Keep up the good work brothers! Each episode gets better

***** lol yeah probably. I usually don't engage in internet arguments, this was a late night comment.
Ed Burdick That's a neat tidbit.
Paul if you like robot minotaurs so much, you should play Anarchy Reigns. There's one of those and he has a rocket hammer, most likely powered by propane.

Nooooo, the ladies totally want the Paul.
I really liked this episode. Please keep up the good work. :D
I was a teenager and didn't know better, but I liked this game and Ssapo was my favorite character so weird.
Whenever you guys said Minatech, I thought of Initech, and then I thought of a cyborg Lumburg, and lost it.

But that is the whole point of the show....blindly going through random games sent by fans.

This game didn't seem that bad seems like an okay 3d fighter.
I would have played.
HAHAHAHA the Brazzers logo was perfect! i can't stop laughing
A mace has the spike ball attached directly on the stick.
A morning star has the spike ball attached to a chain, which is attached to a stick.
I demand a Minotek shirt!
I love you guys! This was my favorite game when I was young. I used to play it with my dad on the PlayStation all the time! This sub was worth it! (Btw, you guy's should play War Of The Monsters for the ps2!)
I didn't know Shiraco was in this game...

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about this game. You're a nice guy.
Hey dudes, you should play Wild 9 for the original Playstation :)
It's so weird my mom was watching this with me for the first time and you just happened to explain the premise of the show for newcomers.
Did not know what a zipperhead was until today thanks...lmao.
Josh: "Are we millionaires yet?"
Me: *ROTFLMAO*
Don't sweat it man. The internets rough. You,my friend, are awesome.

Pedantic... Monsanto... learned 2 new words today.
I love the zipperhead building, with the zipper and the ants, I see it every time I go to South street but I don't know if there's anything IN it currently.
