- This video is all about living on Campus Vs Off-campus. In this video, I have tried to explain the challenges and the advantages a student of LPU, Punjab Faces during his student life in different kinds of accommodations. It does not matter if a student chooses either of the university hostel or any rented house or a PG all have their own pros and cons and that's what I have covered in this video.
About Me: I am Aashay Kapoor, Currently a student of Btech Computer Science In Lovely Professional University, Punjab. I have personally tried all kinds of accommodations and hence making this video in order to share my knowledge.

Glad It helped Ma'am. Girls Hostels are safe. It has restrictions like no one is allowed to leave hostel after 7. It has a garden and play ground inside.Rest everything is similar.
Parents enroll their children in the hostel but after few months children look for apartments outside. So you have to tell the authorities that they are to inform you if any such request is put up.

Their are many food courts in campus right as you said that in 2019 you'll are getting less opportunities so thus the food court have been minimised? I know it's stupid question but still asking.

There's 4 kinds of plans I see the highest one is 32000₹/year with 4times meal.
But I don't know what the food will be
I would recommend go with the one with 3 meals a day i.e without evening snacks.

Sir agr mujhe BCA course krni h aur agar mujhe scholarship nhi milti h admission ke time but agar every semester me meri result kafi achhi hoti h to kya mujhe scholarship milegi jo fee 5 lacs h vo km hoga ya nhi
Sorry to say Vaishnavi but aisa ni hota even if you score CGPA 10 you won't get much benefits. My suggestion to you would be don't take admission in LPU if you are not getting any scholarship.

I'm doing BCA from LPU. Fees is 60k per semester. And there are 6 semesters. So total fees would be 60k*6 = 360k.

This video is 80% fake.
There are plenty of choices if you want to eat food. There are many food stalls all over LPU.
And the mess food is also good and perfect quantity is given to everyone.
And if you want privacy don't do anything in life, lock yourself in your house.
Privacy is good here in normal hostels also. And what type of privacy do you want? No one is going to ask you what you are doing everytime. You have your privacy.
I'm also a LPU student and I know what kind things we face.
But irrespective to other colleges LPUs campus life is way more pretty and nice.
You will disciple inside campus, you will learn many new things that you've dreamt of!
I've few friends staying outside the campus and they are now regretting. They are missing the night life of LPU. They are missing many major as well as minor events and programs going inside LPU.
Guys, safety is also the matter outside you not gonna find any safety and security and if something happens you cant tell or complain to anyone and inside the campus that's not the case.
And here maximum students are well mannered and respectful, so dont get any kind of doubt on the roommates you gonna get. And yes it's not your home, it's your hostel where you have to sacrifice many things for your better future.
And this guy said that he learnt how to cook food when he started leaving outside. Bro if you want to live your hostel life then you have to live in hostel only, then only you can make great memories to recall and laugh at them in future.
If you want to learn how to cook, you can get your electric cookers with you where you can learn to cook. And I thing no body is thinking to live in hostel to learn how to cook.
Dude some points are totally worthless.
You should tell the truth to everyone dont show the worthless things to influence people.
let me get this straight one by one.
1. There was plenty of choices as there was plenty of food stalls in LPU but not anymore. Everyone knows about that after the food ban. if you don't know about it you should check what people have to say about it ( www.change.org/p/lovely-professional-university-jalandhar-punjab-india-healthy-food-crisis-at-lpu ).
2. I have explained what I meant by privacy clearly I don't think I need to justify it again. (Haters gonna hate :P ).
3. I already stated about the cons of staying outside regarding the events and all and yes I can relate to your friends living outside. Feels like you haven't even gone through the video.
4. 100% agreed to your point on safety and security (I have talked about it in my upcoming video). Also, I have included in the suggestion part of this video that chooses a family area because of security issues only.
5. I have just taken an example of cooking. There are many other things as well. Also, I don't know which LPU Hostel you are talking about as there is no provision of keeping an electric cooker inside your hostel room. The only thing which you can keep in your room is an electric kettle. (Not talking about apartments, Talking about hostel here).

1.day leave and night leave burden
2.after 7 during Summer and 5 during winters is the entry time for girls in the hostel
3.full time security bodyguard accompanying you to library
Especially the arbitrary power of the so called SECURITY GUARDS..
4. Last but not the least...the famous admission dpt..who doesn't know to use their brain's and doesn't have common sense
I really regret joining LPU... it's not about the campus or it's not about the events and programs..many may like those things
But for me freedom is imp..and if you talk about the safety ..our safety is in our hands....
And those who are inside the hostel I know howww muchhh they are suffering....
So guys of you are planning to join LPU jst think twice.... experience of a n existing student

Chill.. I know the life of girls inside the campus is horrible! Even I discuss the thinks you girls face. For you girls living inside the campus is next to living behind the bars. But miss Gayathri, I haven't mentioned any girl related issue in my comment. Those were my perspectives. And I'm living a great life here. @@Gaya3j oh girl you are so so true...this uni is the most sexist university in terms of freedom really! Boys can go out without any leave pass throughout day! And return by 8 while girls bear the burden to apply for a pass n etc etce etc moreover, boys can hangout inside the campus all night wherever they wish but girls cant go out of their hostels until its 6am! There are so many points, also coming from an existing student. Also, i hail from WB and i was brought up in a boarding school all my life but the food in lpu mostly is terrible.!!!!

There are many nearby areas like phagwara, Rama mandi etc.
Law gate is nearby but a bit expensive, rama mandi and phagwara is cheap
