what glue did you use to stiffen the flower? is it ordinary school glue?

Beautiful work... Wa t to make it... Just one doubt... Do we shape the flower as soon as we apply startch or do we wait for it to dry a little... I tried shaping while wet... It did nit seem to shape... Please advice...
