- Hello everyone and welcome to this video!
Here is Capt. Caleb “Tango” Robert demonstrating raw power in the CF-18 Hornet! He is also flying his airplane to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Canadian Air Force under the callsign “HORNET100” He also teamed up with a couple of warbird to form a very special heritage flight which will be posted in a separate video. Thanks for filming this, but the auto-focus is brutal. More like auto-de-focus! This stuff is hard to film. It takes special equipment and skill that cannot be replaced with enthusiasm.

Is that an F-18 A or C model?
The original CF-18 as delivered is largely identical to the F/A-18A and B models. A total of 138 CF-18s, consisting of 98 single-seat and 40 dual-seat models, were delivered.
Canadian wise its an A, but US wise its a C

I love the F-18. I was living in Moose Jaw when they first came out and my brother was getting his wings. It looks sexy, and mean. BUT, when I saw the Gripen doing it's stuff, I saw the future. That thing is so nimble and quick, and it has SO MUCH computing power in it that it doesn't even NEED stealth, it does the same with electronic countermeasures and spoofing, with Meteor missiles and Iris-Ts it's like a whole new world... I wish we could have gotten BOTH the Gripen and the F-35, for different missions...
Awesome! Canada shud just get the Gripen imo
@@bisonaviation1217 Can't... The USA has the big stick, and everybody else is getting the F-35. It's a nice gadget, but it is RIDDLED with never ending issues.
