Thank you so much. If you would like some guidance about homes for rent in the Champaign Urbana area, just send me an email from my website (BrockCollins.com) and I will email you additional information.
Agreed! Most of my friends who grew up here with me living in Big Cities with Big Amenities ... and have a couple hour commute to work each day! CU is a breath of fresh air compared to Big Cities!
Willard Airport is located south of town in Savoy. Central Illinois Regional airport is located about 45 minutes away in Bloomington. Indianapolis International Airport is about a 2 hour drive, and in there is also Midway in Chicago as well as Ohare International Airport in Chicago which are both about a 2 hour drive north. I hope this helps! Brock
From the upper midwest and the winters in Champaign seem mild. It's one reason I'm considering a move. The harsh winters being locked inside for months isn't ideal for me. Looks like a lot of high 30s or 40s there and that doesn't seem bad.
That is a good point! We do have a lot of upper 30's and sometimes 40 degree days in the winter. The is certainly warmer that other areas of the upper midwest!

Just moved here! Thank you SO much for the tip on "Move In" day and going to Aldi! I will keep that in mind in the fall.
Thank you Jamie!
I lived in Champaign (and a couple surrounding towns) many years back and I agree with everything mentioned.
Fall IS magical!
Thank you for the information. My wife and I are maybe looking to move and rent a place in the area.

I grew up up there, yup big city amenities with small town living. How I miss zipping anywhere in minutes.

He did say that there's original airport 45 minutes away, but I didn't say what that airport was, and Indianapolis and Chicago or 2 to 2 1/2 hours
