to be honest I feel that this scene could've and should've stayed in the original as a one-off scene to just add and emphasize Pooh's honey conflict and fairly well introduce how much of a contrast Rabbit is.
I don't see why they couldn't have kept this; it's only an extra 4 minutes. Maybe they couldn't work it in very well amongst the storyline of finding a tail from Eeyore and trapping the Backson? It might have been too short and derived too much from the main story to be included. I think it would have been a nice scene as an aside from worrying about the Backson and whatnot.
Yes darth telly If it was in the movie it could start with Pooh saying he likes Rabbit because he says how about lunch and help yourself Pooh. Then the movie could've ran at 67 minutes and not 63 minutes.
I think they knew that; they meant it was ironic for Tom Kenny to play a character that is like Squidward instead of SpongeBob, or like Cat instead of Dog. Namely, Rabbit.
Why is this Rabbit so long and slim, and not only in this scene, he surely looks much more like a hare not a Rabbit. Especially when you compare him with his relatives
Technically Rabbit's friends and relations have already been introduced in the Disney canon. They were in the end credits of Heffalump Movie, the Party Poohper episode of New Adventures, and Small the Insect appeared in My Friends Tigger and Pooh.
R.I.P Ken Sansom April 2, 1927 - October 8, 2012 we'll Miss You forever you were great at voicing rabbit you sounded just like Junius Matthews when he voiced him
Why can't Pooh see how much Rabbit hates him? I feel like his stupidity is just like that of a Peanuts character; where he gravely mistakes that when someone is angry with him, he thinks they're happy.
Probably because he can't see the difference between himself and the other associates here that Rabbit cherishes. At least Pooh is sapient enough to usually muster a 'Thank you' after mooching off of all his honey. :P
Nice they included Small the Beetle in that scene but they really could have kept that scene in the film. It’s a very short film only going on 63 minutes runtime. That extra 4 minutes and 16 seconds could have easily been implemented and changed nothing. Definitely would have made the film better by adding more respect and honor regarding A.A. Milne’s source material.
A pity it wasn't in. I was thrilled with how much the movie pulled from the books- this would have made me laugh, even if the scenario itself never happened.
Well tonight I am going to upload all the deleted scenes from the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie. And upload the short documentary Winnie the Pooh And His Story Too.
No, he wanted to be included, but the Disney studio felt he was too old for the role at this point. I disagree, but who really knows what his voice performance would've sounded like. I bet he still would have done at least a satisfying job. He was always very great in the past. Tom Kenny is still a pretty enthusiastic funny performance too. I just wish this scene had been stuck in, it gives Rabbit some nice development and focus, and for the first time we'd have seen all his miscellaneous 'relations' and how random they are and they played a big part of Rabbit's personality in the original books. I love how they were kept mute and generic cute little wild animals, cos that's exactly what they are in the book and we never really get a true bead on if they're like a real 'family' or not or its all more pompousness on Rabbit's part he made up to just feel important.
Well he voiced Rabbit only a year before in My Friends Tigger And Pooh so there's that comparison to go by (his voice sounded a little weaker but still mostly consistent). John Fiedler's about the only actor they kept until the day he died (though he once joked "I'm just glad Jim (Cummings) can't do Piglet.").

Tom Kenny is so brilliant as Rabbit. Please let him do the character for the rest of his life!
Rabbit clearly is having flashbacks to the last time Pooh invaded his house.
Yeah Pooh got stuck.

I honestly thought they should have used this scene... We would have seen more of rabbits 'perfectionist' side :)
This is the only time where Tom Kenny voices Rabbit.
I wish this was in the movie it was a funny scene.

It's sort of cool in an odd way to hear Tom voicing a character so much like Squidward.
Remember CatDog, this time Tom is playing a Cat type character and Jim is playing a Dog type character
FranBMan he voiced SpongeBob. Not Squidward.
No Jim played Cat and Tom played Dog.

Kristopher Walker
Yeah and Tom doesn't usually do that!

2:27 - That looked painful.

Wow.... even in STORYBOARD form Pooh is a total cinnamon bun!

2:37 - That face, haha. :)

They should not have deleted Rabbit’s Friends and Relations.
They're adorable!^^

1:54: Oh, yes. This will do nicely. Thank you, Pooh Bear. (realizing) Pooh Bear!?
And this happens once a year...
On a positive note, maybe they'll put this scene in an episode of a new Winnie the Pooh TV show (which I'm guessing they'll eventually make).
This makes me laugh so hard I hurt. Shame it was not in the film. I love it!!!!!
Pooh Just Go Ask Piglet
They really should've kept this scene in. I could not stop laughing!

Since Ken Sansom is dead, that seems pretty likely........
Spongebob is Rabbit?
That was awesome, it should've been kept. :) Plus I'd like to have met rabbit's friends and relations. :)
yes
Maybe Ken Sansom retired before the 2011 film....
He did from what I heard.
Natalie Miranda
Where did you heard it from?

I'm glad it wasn't in the movie.
WHY wasn't this in the movie?!
Mr. Cow maybe because for passing issues or time issues.
the movie was only an hour long.
Not gay enough
Could have been gayer
