WHOOAHHH.......I hear the first notes and get all revved...thinking sumbodie's gonna "dance" to MY theme song...and POOF the maiden appears. Just like rubbing a bottle washed ashore. Yes I'm that old and haven't left the 60's ie "my theme song" but it is. one, out of 1000's of 50s-70s songs that holds a bit of meaning for myself. To intertwine a few of my life-long passions- music and the art of belly dance..splendid. The enactment-lyrical-relations is really great--love it. Haven't read the personal memoirs in the link but i surly will. Just a guy here- yet I enjoy the stories/dedication behind the dance--as with any topic- the human side is always enticing, at least for me. Since one's not all that sure I will presume I am addressing the "Kamale Almanza." You are aware that your dancing efforts n the "Bogarts Face" --to us belly dance fans-- is equal to the stature of a "Bond Girl">>> Meant, of course, beyond the typical cheesy "Hollywood" perspective.
