      @@keitasuzuki6318 uh... 3 years late but basically Dr. Rachel Owen, or Thom Yorke's former wife met before or around the band renamed themselves from On a Friday to Radiohead (I think they met in college, but don't take that as fact).
      Around 1995 when they were in a relationship, Thom Yorke played this song live for the first time. At the time it was considered a song about wanting someone to stay and not break up.
      "Don't leave,
      Just don't leave,"
      But after the death of Rachel, the song turned to bargain, hoping for her to stay and not die.

      Interestingly, I personally had to be in that kind of situation when I have waited for the reply for 3 years even though my ex doesn’t die.
      And this song turned so meaningful for me.
