I think you aced the bathroom door too! You can get really creative with door handles! Like partial horns from a goat or cow or deer?? Or something embellished like those old fashioned door handles that look like a crystal? Or just get black handles to match the hinges ❤ Go get your lovely lady! Safe travels! Just love your creativity and up-cycling used wood, shutters etc. Definitely looking rustic, shabby chic ❤❤❤. And clearly kittens and the dog are great service animals making sure the bed stays put and no one hi-jacks it…..well except for them 😁😂. Loved the video🎉

Good job piecing the door together and the TV stand (Grain is to big to be Oak my guess is Pine). Should coat all your woods with wood beetle protectant even stuff in the house. The reason that paint stripper comes with small lids is that you are not supposed to dip your brush back into the bottle as it contaminates what is in the bottle with paint particles. Please use a good mask with replaceable filters when sanding old wood and painted wood or metals as the plain wood like your TV stand may have been coated with wood beetle protectant previously and old paints can contain lead. Keep up the good work!!!
Ahhhhhh that explains it then, never double dip.... Same rule goes for fries and ketchup when in company hahahh. It may well be pine when I cut it it smelt lovely. Actually have had a sponsor approach is with a really cool dust mask I like how it's super light as my big one really bother me when wearing it haha. Ahhh I've just looked it's a bees wax and it's called "Cera de abelha móveis margem"
I bought it from a shop called bricomarshe I think it was about 10 euros ☺️☺️☺️
Sanding the char off??? That defeats the purpose of the burn. All it needs is brushing lightly with wire brush, then sealing 🤔
The bowed door can be fixed by taking a bowed board, and attach it bowed in the opposite direction and see if it straightens the door out.
Heya, I'm not sure how well it comes across on video but the char stayed inside all the little divots and lines etc which I really like the look off back in the day my grandma used to get me to rub in boot polish and rub it off for a similar look but took hours..... I'm sure it must have been a punishment hahah. I do have quite a heavy wire brush but I may look for a slightly less aggressive type of one as I can see that being super useful around here ☺️☺️☺️

Awww thankyou. I don't think they even noticed when the first white one got rehomed however when the 4 go all together in a fortnight j think the remaining 2 may notice and be a little sad 🥹

With regard to the bees, watch The Newbys. They've been in Portugal for 3 years now and have just started keeping bees.
I'm fairly certain that you need a licence and training.
