Sure, the 2000's wasn't the peak of Sonic's success or popularity. However, from a fandom standpoint it was the golden years because every genre of sonic game got some kind of love.
Early 2000s were the most popular Sonic ever was at any point after the 90s & I dare say that was Sonic's Golden Age. Don't forget Sonic X was a thing at that time as well. Heroes was a 3D Sonic Game made to appeal to the fans of the Classic 2D Games.
The Advance series (and Battle) are very underrated. They are not perfect but I think they are great entries to the Sonic series, with Advance 3 being a perfect send off to the "Adventure era".
Honestly, as great as these early-mid 2000s (2002 - 2004) games are (Sonic Advance 2 and Sonic Battle partially, but Sonic Advance 1 and especially Sonic Advance 3 absolutely), I would be in the vast minority of people (to the point of literally being the only one, at least that I know of) that would consider the DreamCast Era to be the turn of the 3rd millennium (1998 - 2001) and then the Advance era (Sonic Heroes being one of its games) to be, as I mentioned before, the continuation of the early 2000s (2002 - 2004). Otherwise, I would just consider the entireties of the decades/eras to be this: 1990s (from Sonic the Hedgehog 1 in 1991 to Sonic R in 1997): Classic 2000s (from Sonic Adventure 1 for the DreamCast in 1998-99 aka the end of the last millennium to Mario & Sonic at the Vancouver (where I’m from, btw) 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Sonic & Sega All/Stars Racing from late 2009 aka the end of the 2000s to early 2010 (February, to be exact) aka the beginning of the last decade: Experimental 2010s (from Sonic 4: Episode 1 in 2010 to Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 (or in this case, 2021, despite being released in… wait for it…) Summer Olympic Games in 2019): Meta (formerly Modern) Era 2020s: Revival Era (hopefully)
@@kieranstark7213 Don't really get that "meta" era naming (having 3 non-forth-wall breaking jokes and meme twitter isn't enough IMO). What's wrong with classic/adventure/(modern/boost)? (all mainline adventure era games play like sonic adventure but with a spin of 3 characters/guns/autorun/being barely functioning, and with spin-offs they form one distinct continuity, thus adventure name)
I guess where J’s Reviews would invent the term “Meta” (re: Cartoon Network’s Sonic Boom where they actually made its self-referential humour work) to describe the 2010s Sonic (even though yes, the franchise had its meta moments) is because people are sick and tired of insufferably weak writing for the Sonic characters.
My opinions on these games: Sonic Advance: Good Sonic Advance 2: Great Sonic Advance 3: The best GBA Sonic game Sonic Pinball Party: Good for what it is Sonic Battle: Awesome Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis: AWFUL
@@brian_Austin27 I thought its level design was great. Idk why people hate it so much, when Sonic Advance 2 had Sky Canyon which is worse than every zone in Advance 3 combined.
@@YoshifreakZX also I believe the real reason people hated advance 3 so much was because of the pairing mechanic. Sonic was no doubt the best character paired with anyone. But characters like Tails and Knuckles we'll get restrictions on their abilities depending on who you paired them with. It didn't bother me so much but I hated pairing knuckles with Sonic, How they took away his glide and replaced it with a headbutt lol. Still I played advanced 3 More than the others.
@@cesarcastillo7129 Yeah the Genesis games do share these same problems (especially Sonic 2), but the Sonic Advance trilogy only worsen those problems. Multiple times in the Advance trilogy, I would use a spring only for a badnic to be waiting for me at the top, it's almost tradition for at least one stage in each Advance game to start you in front of a near unavoidable bottomless pit completely out of the camera's view, and everybody a Dimps MUST have sleep on a bed of spikes their entire life because there's spike beds everywhere! You try to look for secrets, you get impaled on spikes. You try to do regular platforming, hidden spikes will impale you. You go down a pit the game wants you to go down, not without getting impaled on spikes first. You try to go fast and enjoy the game, the spikes will put a stop to that... Then impale you for flinching. It makes me so mad because the characters feel excellent to control, but the levels feel like some kid's "hard" Mario Maker levels.
@@cesarcastillo7129 If it's possible, I'd like to dedicate myself one day to make a Sonic Advance trilogy mod that throws every level in the trash, and remake them all from scratch. Just so I can finally savour how the developers crafted the controls for each of the characters in each game.
@@thepuzzlemaster64 Yes please fix them, that's the main reason it took me so long to beat Sonic Advance 2 & 3 in the first place. Sonic Advance 1 had this problem too but not to the extent of the other two games.
I think Sonic Advance 2 is one of the best 2D Sonic games, perhaps next to only Sonic 2. The biggest problem with 2D games has always been that the game mechanics are designed to encourage you going fast, but then the level design keeps breaking your flow. Sonic Advance 2 has like the best flow out of any 2D Sonic game.
I hate how everything built up from the Adventure Era has just been forgotten and abandoned, especially story wise, everything these characters experienced was just pushed aside, Cream's development during her and Emerl's capture, how she needs to fight, what Shadow went through, what and who he is and would do, the lore and continuity, and so much more, ALL OF IT IS GONE NOW and FOR WHAT? -Also, about Amy in Sonic Battle, I have no problem with it, remember her, her fangirl and lover side is apart of her character, it SHOULD be shown off shouldn't it? Her great sides will always be there but one game where she's her usual self should be no issue, heck, in her very own Episode, Cream while also having a disliking for how Amy behaves sometimes even says "she's the strongest girl I ever knew" or something along those lines. And she even trains so she can protect Emerl
I know exactly what you mean, & it's why Sega of Japan never should have left SoA in complete control of the series 10 years ago. The 1st thing they did was replace the entire staff hiring unfitting English VAs for Sonic, Shadow, & Amy alongside 2 lead writers with no knowledge of the series. They let the series be reduced to a parody of itself starting in Sonic Colors & damaged the series reputation so badly that it may never actually recover. SoA doesn't understand how the Sonic Series is supposed to be with them forgetting that Sonic was supposed to be cool yet making him lame for the entire 2010s Decade. Sega of Japan should have issued mandates to kill SoA's absurd mandates if you ask me. Cream is 1 of the 3 most popular characters in Japan for the series yet she's been absent from all the actual games since Generations for no real reason. Fans of Sonic Adventure & 2000s Sonic have suffered for too long because of the braindead Stateside Branch of Sega. The Story & Characters were what made me a fan of the series & those have been absent for 10 years. The Sonic Series was only trying to be mediocre the past decade, while prior to that Sonic was actually good because the games were trying to be great.
Yeah they kept building up lore till, sonic heroes decided to forget all of that, and forces destroyed any sense of canon with the alternate dimension crap with classic sonic.
As someone who strongly (and respectfully) disagrees with your take on Amy Rose in SB, nobody can ever say the same compliments about her in Sonic Free Riders.
I have played all 3 Sonic Advance titles with Advance 2 being my personal favorite but screw the methods it takes to get the Chaos Emeralds in each game not worth it
@@Klonoahedgehog not to this point. In classics you are fine with a giant ring or 50 rings somewhere. In advance, you need to suffer to get even 1 emerald
@@GrayFoxHound9 Sonic 1 & CD required you to finish the level with at least 50 rings for 1 chance at an unfair Special Stage. Sonic 2 & 3K were the Classic games in which it was easiest to collect all the Emeralds. Advance you have to find 7 hidden springs, each of which gives you 1 chance at a difficult special stage. Advance 2 & Advance 3 are much more convoluted to access the special stages. Rush games had good special stages that were much easier to access. Colors Wii was trash that made you hunt down every dang Red Ring in the game just to collect the Chaos Emeralds which was such a pain to unlock Super Sonic. Let's just say it was a bad game that critics praised to reduce the series to a parody of itself, which it has been for the past 10 years. We can only hope Project 2021 is a return to form for 3D Sonic after all these years like what we got in the Adventure Games.
Sonic Battle is an epic game. It honestly has an awesome story. i love the sprite work and the city designs. I love the characters, especially Shadow in this game. This game is fkin gold. How can you not think it's a 10/10 for a GBA game???
Because actually playing the campeign is boring IMO especially beating a character then getting back up and having to fight them again now with 10 lives.
Honestly the fighting is the worst part about it. You get juggled, the fighting is boring, the emerl thing is cool but painful at the start when he’s really weak, and honestly the only good thing about the game is the amount of content and the story
Nah, he's right and broke it down perfectly. Emerl and his customization, awesome. The game looks beautiful. The story is amazing. But this is still a fighting game, and the fight mechanics are far from perfect. It is fun at first but then it becomes tedious at best and frustrating at worst. By the end of the game I found myself cheesing my way through the fights with cheap spamming strategies, which I do not enjoy. And the reason why I had to do it was because you have no choice, if you want to actually have fun with the fights the enemies will absolutely demolish you with only 3 or 4 hits. If it had good fighting mechanics and level design, yes, it would be a near perfect game. But it doesn't.
Sonic advance 2 is my favorite one on gba with Sonic advance 3 being my second favorite. Thank you two for being honest about every single advance game; It's really rare that I find a video nowadays that's pretty much all around reviewing the good and flaws about the game instead of just calling and praising it to be the best ever.😌
Sonic Advance 3 is one of my favorite 2D games ever. Sure, it might be brutal, but as someone who played Sonic Unleashed a ton, I love the challenge it gave me. It isn't too unfair. I also like Advance 1 and 2. Advance, because it's simple and fun, however it isn't really original. Advance 2 was exhilarating! Every characters blasts through the levels were a great feelin', but the levels were only made for that, so it was pretty samey after a while. Advance 3 fixed that and made the levels more platformey and fast at the same time (maybe that's why the physics were like feathers). I can say though that getting the Chaos Emeralds is a huge chore, especially Advance 2. Sonic Battle... I really like the story a whole lot, but the gameplay really, Really overstays its welcome. Rouge and Knuckles Story were painful. But the rest is good for what it is. I hope SEGA can Re-release the Advance trilogy, because I really like the whole package. Make it happen!
I disagree with Amy in Advance 1, I never felt like her momentum affected the gameplay at all as everyone seemed to move as a reasonable speed even if there were obvious difference (Sonic being fastest, Amy being the slowest) and after replaying it multiple times I find Amy to be the most fun I've had with Sonic Advance and Sonic the worst, namely because I found Sonic interacts with things the worst of the 4. Once you learn Amy's playstyle her acrobatics complement the level design (especially if you hammer flip on loops/terrain slopes) and she easily destroys every boss better than any character because of her range. In comparison Sonic has the hardest time dealing with any boss and I feel like if I ever wanted to get that classic feel with the familiar style I'd just use Tails or Knuckles who deal with situations better than Sonic. Amy is pretty much the to-go option for veterans who wish to challenge their skills, all while experiencing the single most creative twist to the core gameplay that proves you can have playable characters that can be fun without relying in them being clones like Tails and Knuckles. Imo Amy's gameplay is pretty much "lets take her mediocre gameplay from SA1 and make it better, and put it in 2D) outside of using Tails or Knuckles to get Chaos emeralds, Amy is my main go to if I ever just want to play Sonic Advance for whatever reason. For my opinions of the Advance series I consider 1 the best because it adds a balance of platforming and momentum based gameplay. Unpopular opinion I REALLY don't like Sonic Advance 2 and consider it one of my least favorite Sonic games. Its an example I would call "Style over Substance" in fact the video titled "Spectacle over Substance" is a perfect description because I feel the overfocus on speed is also the game's biggest issue, to the point where it doesn't feel like you're meant to platform in certain levels that require you to be careful, the SP rings act contradictory to the design and any of the character's abilities don't get used because the design of the level/game doesn't allow for any of their unique abilities to come into play so you're basically controlling 5 Sonic's only Cream has long range. Speaking of which the running bosses suck, as I hate the feeling of flying back after hitting them and each boss is designed with some ranged attacks in mind and with the exception of like 1 or 2 of them it feels like it specifically favors Cream because she has her own range to counter them, which isn't how you should design your bosses. I'm also not a fan of the level design in the second half. That's also not mentioning your reward for needing to get Chaos Emeralds as all 4 characters are things that her unlocked from the start of Advance 1. Which just makes the tedium worse. With Advance 3 it would be my favorite if it were for its most glaring issue. The hit detection is at its all time worst! As much as this era is my favorite era (as well as the best era) the constant issue that continued to persist each of them was the consistently bad hit/collision detection, and I feel Advance 3 is one of the worst, if not the worst. If so much as a pixel of your characters shoe touches near the edge of a block it counts as you getting squashed by it, it also feels like getting hit can be cheap at times, especially when trying to hit bosses. However it does have the best presentation, story and music of the Advance games, seriously Advance 3 has an underrated OST, especially by GBA standards. So I would rank my preferences Advance Advance 3 Advance 2
i was gonna comment the same thing about amy i had fun playing as her, even tho i tortured myself by playing on my phone (also i played with amy on my first playthru, figuted i played enough with sonic so i jumped into advance 1 not knowing amy is meant to be a challenge lol)
@@lootria The strange thing is despite being the "challenge" mode of Advance, Amy is actually the most capable in the game. She's the most well equipped at handling every boss to the point of even delivering multiple hits consecutively, and it feels like the level design was more suited to her playstyle that the other three. In fact I find it harder to play as anyone but Amy, especially Sonic who is literally the worst in every category and has no a single advantage in any way aside from being fast. To me Sonic Advance feels like Amy's game, because her playstyle feels the most adaptable. Not to mention despite it being her Adventure gameplay it fixed all the problems that playstyle had in Adventure 1. If I had to rank the characters I'd go Amy Knuckles Tails Sonic
@@donathan2933 I don't know people just make up stuff the arguments started in 2004 but picked up in 2007 it was made by IGN you can even hear the stupid friend it's argument in Sonic generations where I quote "Sonic and stupid friends are important and thankfully"
Thank you for giving the Sonic Advance Trilogy a second look. The Sonic Trilogy is a huge part of my childhood, and I couldn't have asked for a better era introduction to the franchise. This era fully embraced both Modern and Classic gameplay. The Advance games get better as the entries go down, and Battle is a blast to play . The era is SERIOUSLY underrated, aesthetically, gameplay-wise and story-wise.
As a kid my aunt took me to Walmart to buy me a game. Originally I didn't know what to get so I got Sonic The Hedgehog for the gameboy, I knew nothing about it other than it being the original Sonic. After I bought it I kept looking at the box and I asked if I can return the game and choose out a different one and we did and I ended up getting Sonic Colors instead. I saved myself there
Shouts outs to Amy's imagination being powerful enough that she can just bring into existence an imaginary Sonic to fight alongside her in Sonic Battles.
Advance 3 is one of the most nostalgic games to me. I love the partner mechanic with how much replay value it gives me, and I don’t mind the hubworlds since it allows me to choose each act in any order I want.
Fun fact about Sonic Genesis. The demo that plays if you wait on the title screen uses the originals inputs and input times. Because of this, Sonic will always either die or get stuck in the moving block section of Spring Yard’s demo due to the lag.
Sonic Battle was amazing! Although as a kid, I didn’t realize you can change emerald’s moves till I was deep into the game. I just thought I sucked at the game by how bad I was loosing. But once I learned how to change his moves! On buddy did I love the game and mechanics.
It's amazing that Battle adds quite a lot of Lore with Gerald's journal It turns out that Emerl was the one who started the whole "Artificial Chaos rampage"
@@lpfan4491 info.sonicretro.org/Prof._Gerald%27s_Journal_(Sonic_Battle) Well it's not directly said like that, i mean Battle was made before Shadow's game which was the one that stablished the Artificial Chaos rampage, so i don't think the devs were planning that far ahead In Battle it's mentioned that Emerl caused the accident as unclear as SA2, but like Emerl looks exactly like Chaos, future games can expand upon that (and Gerald's expeditions on Angel Island)
@@hugoflores1093 The jounral entry says that Emerl went on a rampage and destroyed much of the ARK, but doesn't really reference the Artificial Chaos. It could be the same incident but if you look at the events as portrayed in Shadow the Hedgehog it's likely the AC incident happend at a later date, after Emerl had already been handed over to the government. In fact that might even explain why GUN soldiers were stationed on the ARK to begin with - preperation in case of another incident like that. "but like Emerl looks exactly like Chaos, future games can expand upon that" - Dunno if you've ever played Chronicles but that game basically shows that the Gizoids were created by a rival Echidna clan, the Nocturnus. Emerl was essentially the prototype Gizoid designed to harness the Chaos Emeralds. The other ones are weaker but still pretty strong.
Yeah and Emerl being a unique Gizoid that would be able to absorb the Chaos Emeralds for pure dominance during the whole Knuckles Clan war, and Gerald reprogramming him to be a useless war bot, until Eggman scooped him up a couple of years, having the same issue the government had. Some crazy stuff lol
Sonic Advance was my first GBA game ever, and it was the last game my dad gave me before he went to prison for 6 years. I have a lot of nostalgia for the game.
Sonic Advance were the first Sonic games I ever played. I got the games as they came out and I remember like them more as the next one came out. Sonic Advance 3 is easily one of the best 2D Sonic games out there. It's just loads of fun and has so much in it. I could play it over and over and not get sick of it.
Your point on Advance 3 being the culmination of the Adventure era makes Johnny hating it make more sense: it's the culmination of the very thing he hates the most in the Sonic franchise.
Sonic battle is underrated. It's basically sonic another advance game But the story is probably the best I've seen in any sonic game since then. Yes but also because it does something really cool in that it ties in to both the adventure games and advance 3 3 Though I think the game is really solid and fun I still think that advance 3 is by far the most solid sonic game. It has a passable story that doesn't take itself too seriously and has quite enjoyable gameplay with the partners mechanic. Advance 1 is ok And sonic advance 2 is great until sky canyon. Sky canyon is probably the worst stage in any gba sonic game.
I did play Sonic Advance 3 once. And so far, it's actually pretty fun. The first impressions were not so great but later on, I started to really like it. Almost the same deal with Sonic Heroes since the first impressions of these games were not so good. Didn't finish the game though since some of the special stages in order to unlock the true final boss still remain to be checked.
And YES! English is not my first language, but THAT does not mean you have the right to attack or offend someone because of that specific weakness. You are no better than that though (Same for myself who pretty much wanted to spread his own opinions).
2 had the best level design and was a breeze to blast through at break neck speed. 3 is beyond awful with its pits and traps and never letting you build up momentum. It is almost like Advance 3 punishes you for trying to go fast
these games will probably always bring nostalgia from Flash Times, because these are times i most commonly associate with Sprite Animations and some Sonic Flash Game used these sprites and custom made for that art-style sometimes... and i'm feeling old for some reason...
Sonic advance 2 was my first sonic game too! I got it as a communion gift of all things. Talk about the sonic and Christianity meme. Still I'm glad I got it as my first experience with Sonic. Nostalgia really makes me think fondly of the second Advance game.
8:16 I think Character-in-Depth is lowkey calling SA1 the real Sonic 4. lol I mean he's not wrong. It WAS the next big Sonic game Sonic Team made after 3&K but I think the statement alone would trigger a lot of retro fans.
I have yet to play any of the Advance games at all, most of my Dimps experience comes to the Rush trilogy. If I ever get to play the Advance games, there's only a few things I fear: - Chaos Emeralds - Late game level design (which is also an issue I had with Sonic Rush). - Advance 3. Some people dislike it for its level design and hub worlds among other things, but then there's people like you who enjoy it a lot. So I guess I'll just have to try it and see.
13:09 *DO NOT* fucking apologise for this you're absolutely right, there is no excuse for the bastardisation of shadow that came after 2010. you had a great point, and we all agree with you.
Oh no, I definitely think current Shadow is a disgrace. But the thing I mentioned was how I called Shadow an edgelord in Sonic 06, which I don't think is true at all.
@@JsReviews that's true _but_ shadow in his game actually _is_ an edge lord due to the horrible english localization, whereas in the japanese version he's closer to his sa2 and heroes personality, i hope you mention this in your review.

Sonic battle is amazing. Also the weird fact that omega is mentioned even if the game was released 26 days before heroes and it also takes place after shadow the hedgehog
@@backslash_bks Yeah, but how is that evidence? Battle is contradictory to Heroes in every way. We simply can assume that Rouge met Omega somewhere in timeline after Adventure 2.
i think sonic advance 2 is the pure representation of sonic games that benefit from being replayed. it's better and pretty fun to speed run it, but anything disregarding that won't be the most enjoyable experience. great vid!
Ever since I got into Sonic in 2020 with my younger brother , I got into emulation of Nintendo DS , GBA and PSP games , and to be honest , I kind of enjoyed playing Sonic Advance 2 and 3 as well as Battle . They are just so fun for me to play.

First Sonic game/game ever I played was Sonic genesis, Lmao. I grew up playing it for years and thought it was ok, but I've known it sucked for awhile. I could never get past the boss of labyrinth zone as a kid, which I saw what happened on the vid. But yeah great video, loved playing all of the advanced games, did like Genesis as a kid, And pinball party isn't bad, I just suck at pinball.
I actually beat Sonic 1 Genesis for the first time today after owning it for nearly six years, and I really felt the pain at 20:59 because that happened to me as well. Also, there's a secret shortcut in Labyrinth Act 1 that's kind of difficult to get to, but lets you skip most of the stage, which in that Zone is an absolute godsend, but as I learned the hard way, they didn't include it in S1 Genesis. Easily the worst port I have ever played in my life.
The Sonic advanced series sounds good but not great but I hope it makes it as a collection on future Sega collections. I love classic Sonic games but I missed out on some games. Cool video. ^_^

I like the story in Sonic Fighters, but I think the gameplay can be enjoyable if one has the patience for the repetitive fights. And as someone who grew up with Sonic Advance 3, let's just say it's satisfying that trumped the others.
I adored Sonic Advance 2! It was also the 1st(& only) gba game i ever had. It was also the 1st sonic game i owned! Loved the speed boosting and levels plus the soundtrack!

2000s (from Sonic Adventure 1 for the DreamCast in 1998-99 aka the end of the last millennium to Mario & Sonic at the Vancouver (where I’m from, btw) 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Sonic & Sega All/Stars Racing from late 2009 aka the end of the 2000s to early 2010 (February, to be exact) aka the beginning of the last decade: Experimental
2010s (from Sonic 4: Episode 1 in 2010 to Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 (or in this case, 2021, despite being released in… wait for it…) Summer Olympic Games in 2019): Meta (formerly Modern) Era
2020s: Revival Era (hopefully)

Mine is:
Advance 1: Great
Advance 2: Boring
Advance 3: Great
Battle: Good
Pinball Party: Good for what it is
Genesis: Terrible
I'd like the Advance trilogy more if it weren't for three things:
>Dickish enemy placement
>Huge bottomless pits
>Hidden spikes
Every sonic game has that lmao
@@cesarcastillo7129
Yeah the Genesis games do share these same problems (especially Sonic 2), but the Sonic Advance trilogy only worsen those problems.
@@thepuzzlemaster64 Honestly all that frustration u feel is exactly what I feel with most respawn locations in Sonic 3 & Knuckles lmao
@@cesarcastillo7129
If it's possible, I'd like to dedicate myself one day to make a Sonic Advance trilogy mod that throws every level in the trash, and remake them all from scratch.

INITIATING RECOVERY MODE!
The problem is that Amy's character is stereotyped to the extreme in Battle
I think in Sonic Battle, Amy truly deserves the nickname of the pink monster.
As someone who strongly (and respectfully) disagrees with your take on Amy Rose in SB, nobody can ever say the same compliments about her in Sonic Free Riders.

@@buffkangaroodog EXACTLY
The emeralds are a bitch to get in most games
Finally someone understands
Because it's tedious, drags on and the difficulty is BS? Did you even watched the video?
You unlock the sound effects in the menu if you get all of the Chaos Emeralds.

Collecting all Chaos Emeralds and defeating the final boss as all 4 characters unlocks Amy Rose.
@@HarmonyBunny I was talking about Sonic Genesis.
@@megamanmarchek8293 You could've clarified the name of the game to avoid confusion. 😅
So I would rank my preferences
Advance
Advance 3
Advance 2
I don't think listing Sonic Advance 2 as the weakest of the Sonic Advance Trilogy is as unpopular an opinion as you think it is.
i was gonna comment the same thing about amy
i had fun playing as her, even tho i tortured myself by playing on my phone
(also i played with amy on my first playthru, figuted i played enough with sonic so i jumped into advance 1 not knowing amy is meant to be a challenge lol)
...You we’re playing Sonic Advance 3 on an emulator, weren’t you?
These are all of my exact thoughts.
If I had to rank the characters I'd go
Amy
Knuckles
Tails
Sonic

It's amazing that Battle adds quite a lot of Lore with Gerald's journal
It turns out that Emerl was the one who started the whole "Artificial Chaos rampage"
So like, did emerl wire them to the incorrect poles? Because that is the canonical explanation for why they went rogue.
@@lpfan4491 info.sonicretro.org/Prof._Gerald%27s_Journal_(Sonic_Battle)
Well it's not directly said like that, i mean Battle was made before Shadow's game which was the one that stablished the Artificial Chaos rampage, so i don't think the devs were planning that far ahead
In Battle it's mentioned that Emerl caused the accident as unclear as SA2, but like Emerl looks exactly like Chaos, future games can expand upon that (and Gerald's expeditions on Angel Island)

I love that it just randomly shows Vaush in the suggested videos on the side, lol.
For growing in the gba, I am proud of being able to grow up with advance 1, quite a nifty lil games on a nifty lil plataform with those 5ish somewhatish great games
Would love to see your take on Sonic Rush. I absolutely love the game and the music is mind blowing!
Advance 2 goated
Anyone here after the livestream?
Man, I know, it's a bad game, but I just love Sonic Battle. I replay it every other year. It's just so cool to have a Sonic fighting game with such a great story. Emerl is one of my favorite Sonic characters.

Great video its good know character in depth is aware of Japanese manuals and I hope both you cover Japanese versions of sonic games because they featured better writing and so on all the games are translated and subtitled by windii on her channel so please give her some love.
I love portable versions of Sonic advance trilogy and Sonic Rush series, Sonic Pinball Party and Sonic Battle
characters in depth i really like your videos
Great video, but I'm surprised you two didn't talk about the Chao Garden in Sonic Advance, it was simple but a fun way to pass time.
