Medieval folk doom metal is my new favourite genre of metal. :D
Folk and doom? Two of of my favorite metal genres!
No, cross that, its...spectacularly sad, it creates this feeling of a loss to hopeless to recover from, and too broken down, spent and defeated to open up again...and its something I can relate to.
So cloudy, and so calming at the same time.

Great song by a (clearly) great band. I can't believe I just discovered MSW (and Century Sleeper) not so long ago, after a so rich discography and a split with a band I like (Pylon) ! This is really good doom with clean vocals (so bored with growls) and beautiful acoustic moments/songs, if someone know more bands in that vein I really would like to know them (with that kind of vocals, clean but not too high or mellow). I'd call that kind of music "victorian doom-metal" or "wuthering heights metal", something very rural british folkgoth, music for mist on the moors. I think MSW should one day make a record with a string quartet, cellos, or "viole de gambe", experiment with classical music in an austere way, that would fit this music very well (only my pt of view).
I recommend you listen to Empyrium (the weiland album), estatic fear and uaraal
Love it! The music is so fantastic that I could easily see you doing an acoustic "best of" by MSW. I have followed your musical escapades all since the first S.A. album and it's interesting to see your voice just keeps on getting better. It truly fits the "doom label".
