    I like to grow them in the open baskets with the coconut fiber liners but we have really wet summers so it helps keep them from getting waterlogged. And, yes, they get bulky here (not especially tall but very bushy). Not as big as the species Epiphyllum oxypetalum, but close. No Ric-Rac/Zig Zag/Fishbone cactus? Now _those_ get big and the foliage is really neat.
