SO nice, i have Trail 2(2017) and it is awesome for hardatail. I also removed all reflectors cause i hate them. I have ridden about 10k kms already and frame is just as good as new. Have fun with your bike!

That is fantastic! One thing I thought was that quite long stem, and later in the video you said the same 😸 The brakes and shifters look fantastic. Is it wider, than the previous one? How do you like those wide handlebars?
Yeah, it's wider than de RR. I really like the wide bars, I have more control on downhill, although it's quite harder to squeeze into traffic 😅 but I'll get used to it

Got the same bike aswell, the high gear from 5 and downwards will be good for building up speed if your descending on a trail or downhill in general. Low gear 4 and upwards will be good for climbing, going up a hill, you can shift to a suitable gear whilst riding. This bike has 2 chain rings which is very beneficial, you can adjust between the 2 with the shifter on the left side that shows '1,2'. The larger head will good for pedalling and building speed, the smaller will be good for comfort in climbing or just pedalling in general. Hope this helps :)
Happy belated new bike day, will you be buying the Carrera Vengeance for your next bike? Also have you tried air forks their worlds apart from coil spring forks.

Hope you got the trail. I ride my friends marlin 6 and didn’t like it and I know own the trail 7 and wow it rides like my friends giant talon 1 which is a great bike
@@Carmelov2012 I wish. I couldn't find any MTB's at the time and probably wanted a bike to bad. I ended up getting at Hybrid of which i'm already trying to sell. It's a great bike (Polygon Heist X5) but the tire size just doesn't allow me to do what I want to do. i need a 29er!
if you want your bike with superb handling upgrade your handle bar ang stem..RACEFACE RESPOND BAR 785 mm and 31 mm rise, RACEFACE RESPOND STEM 45mm long... and. you will see the difference afterwards 😊
It's one of the best entry level MTBs. I jumped on ramps, dropped off and the only minor problem I had were the inner tubes. I got a snake bite when I was hitting little dirt jumps. I changed them with some better ones. I got much more confident on scary lines since I got this bike.

Question? Can a Cannondale Trail 7 handle everything you did in the vlog with your Trail 6? I am about to buy the Trail 7 tomorrow. Reviews show the Trail 7 more of a street commuter bike with low-impact trail riding. The trails you rode on your Trail 6, would you consider that low-impact? I know the components on your Trail 6 are better than what's on the Trail 7. Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply, but my answear is yes. The trails I tried were low-impact and Cannondale bike are well designed so I wouldn't worry about it. It's not really recommended to get too much aggresive thou.

I didn't want to spend for more than I really need. Due to the Pandemic, the gyms here in California, USA have been closed. I need something for cardio. I have had my bike for 2 days and love it. I ride it mostly on streets. Thanks again.
nice review but request you to be a little more detailed on like wheel / rim size, tire manufacturer, etc. - spend 2-3 mins more on those details please.

I noticed that the brakes on Marlin 7 are Tektro.. I wouldn't recommend Tektro brakes. Cannondale has Shimano

Obviously is gonna be a bit harder to pedal on pavement than on a hybrid, but you don't commute a long distance, shouldn't be a problem
