Legacy carmakers need to ditch dealerships. I called a dealer the other day asking about Lyriq. They said they do not have open inventory but have around 5-6 come available as reservations cancel. Salesman asks me to leave my info. As I am about to give my info he says oh we charge $10k over MSRP just so you know. That is absurd. The tide does turn when it does I hope they go out of business.
Great. Now go make more than 24 cars a month. I would love to order this but rep says waitlist is at least a year long assuming your dealer gets the allocation
It may take a long time, but until supply shortages normalize, delays will be the name of the game. If you think you'll want one in the future, its best to get on that list!
I preordered a Lyriq AWD. I have NEVER had to wait this long for anything. It's ridiculous how long I've been waiting. Haven't seen a single owner review - which I think they're suppresing with NDA for $5000 - and haven't heard anything about the AWD version which they have delivered in China.
I don't know about you, but I would rather wait for Cadillac to get it right than spend countless days in the dealership waiting for them to fix my car.
I had to wait 9 months (June 2021 until February 2022) waiting for Hyundai to deliver my Ioniq 5 dealer. Get used to waiting in this day and age. All auto manufacturers are the same when it comes to these delays. Plus they are all dealing with supply chain delays too.
It is one of the most beautiful SUVs on the market right now.

Fantastic video!
Thank you very much!

Theyre sold out into 25' its kinda crazy
I've been watching several car reviews on the Lyriq since you've mentioned it. No customer should have to wait this long to get a vehicle.

All automakers are still experiencing supply chain delays; be it the vehicle production or the actual plant infrastructure.
Dream 😊👍
👏👏👏👏👏
I love that they're using Android. 👍
Still waiting 😅

Cadillac..Remember Cadillac Diesel..4 6 8 V8..Catera..Allante..4100..Cimarron..XLR ..And now Electric vehicles Lyriq and Celestiq.? What a record.
I remember and own some of them. However I can recall my history with BMW Engine issues as well
Besides the delays, name me one major issue with the Lyriq or Celestiq that's verifiable as opposed to anecdotal.
