Yep, Paulina's drumming is a thing of beauty. Dany's vocals just keep getting better and better and Ale's downtunned bass sounds so powerful. Nice to see you back in The Warning rabbit hole 😁

Dany says: "It's about missing someone and the energy this person gives you. You're drawn into their gravitational pull and brightness - like an automatic sun." The video was put together in one week. They shot it at Tecate Pa’l Norte in Monterrey on March 31st. The video team is led by Beto Ramos, Pau’s drum teacher, and Iván Chávez, recent graduate of the University of Monterrey film school. The team they lead is top notch. Their first major TW video was the Metropolitan concert. Dan Lancaster is listed in the credits as a co-producer of the song, a lyrics contributor and providing keyboards. Dan was a touring keyboardist for Muse.

This song contains elements of pop, rock, hard rock, metal, swing, and more. It is uniquely The Warning. Paulina is the Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year, 2023, so yeah, she's amazing! If you haven't heard her on *Dust to Dust,* or *23,* or *Revenant,* or *Narcisista,* all of those were performed live at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City on 08/29/2022 and can be found on The Warning Channel. She sings lead, while drumming, on two of them, and sings lead out front on the others. Her drum teacher and the band's audio mixer, Beto Ramos, stood in for her on *Narcisista.* The Warning are fortunate to have three great vocalists and piano players. Ale doesn't like to sing lead, but will if her sisters are sick. Pau generally leads on ballads, where she can genuinely rip your heart out of your chest and stomp on it. Her cover of Radiohead's *Creep* is legendary. Her 2017 song, *Black Holes,* should come with an addict trigger warning. It's a powerful (pauerful?) song about the pain and despair of addiction, written by a 13-year-old version of herself. Dig deeply into their catalog and you'll be amazed at what they have done.

Yes, released on the 5th of April, a Friday. The video was shot just the weekend before, less than a week turnaround. Think they wanted it released in time for the North American solar eclipse on the 8th.
Song is the 5th of 5 current singles from their upcoming 4th album, Keep Me Fed, due out on the 28th of June. The other 4 are "More", "Sick", "Hell You Call A Dream", and their 3rd Spanish language song, "Que Mas Quieres".

Welcome back to The Warning, Samantha. I think it’s been a year? I love the look and expressions on your face! Yes, the ladies have grown up a lot in that short time. Check out Hell You Call a Dream live at the Pepsi Center. Dany, as singer, has levelled up. All three sisters have! In case you missed it. Paulina was recognized as DRUMEO’s Best Rock Drummer of 2023.

Apologies if someone mentioned this already. The studio version audio was used because, apparently, the live audio had too much extraneous noise in it. As it is, the match up between the audio and live video is well done, and even the unmatched parts are artistically integrated. I love this.
    Thanks for presenting this.

Every new song is their best song until they release another one. LOL I agree with you about Pau. I play bass, so you'd think Ale would be my favorite, and she does some brilliant bass work on every song, but Pau amazes me everytime she performs- like she takes it up a notch and her ability you sing while playing is incredible to me. I sing while playing bass and it's a challenge because the notes I play on the bass do not always reflect the notes of the lead vocal. I know a lot of folks want to hear Ale sing lead or at least sing more often, but I understand why she doesn't. I completely understand. It's hard to do unless you practice it a lot and use both sides of your brain between playing the bass and singing the lead vocal. But then there's Pau. She makes play drums look so effortless, but I know it's not. You have each limb doing something different at the same time. And she also sings? What? When she plays drums she is throwing in a lot of little tweaks to make it interesting for her to play each time. I get that. A song is never ever truly finished. It can always be better. Her thing is that she never seems to do the same drum fill twice and her work with the cymbals is perfection.

    • @williamburkholder769

SUBSCRIBED! Pau is amazing. On her drum-fill at around 4:48, did she hit the bottom of the cymbal on the upstroke? Very cool. Love this song. Every time my randomized playlist plays it, I have to listen to it two or three times LOL! Nice little flex by The Warning, letting the world know they can dip into Heavy Metal whenever they want.

Lovely reaction Samantha. Saw them play this live in Cardiff and it is even better live, as all their tracks are! If you want pure joy of Pau on the drums then watch the other most recent track of theirs "Hell You Call A Dream" Live from Pepsi Center CDMX. Dany even ramps up the vocals to next level and lets just say every concert should have a Pau cam for spreading the smiles all round!

The girls were in Spain just recently. They played 4 sold-out shows in Madrid, Barcelona, Santiago de Compostela, and Bilbao. If you ever get the chance, go see them live. Nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to actually see them play. You don’t get that level of playing with any other band, and I have seen many, including some legendary bands.
The only reason you couldn’t play the drums is because you thought you couldn’t. Natural talent doesn’t exist, and the only difference between a good player and a mediocre one is skill. If you had made the decision of becoming a great drummer, you would’ve become one. Repetition is key to do everything you want.

If you liked this song, I'm very sure you will love "Evolve" at the MTv VMAs and "Hell You Call A Dream" the official video of the Pepsi Center CDMX (Ciudad de México) because
    Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra,
They have nothing to do with other inflated and artificially marketed bands around the world.
They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock.
Metallica, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina...
In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful.
Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world.
In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTV VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve":
    "... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..."
And the others in production let the girls know this, but he himself had already told them personally just after finishing their performance and there is evidence of all this on video.
Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia.
And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism.
What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed.
It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
This year in recent days they performed as headliners in several European countries where several venues sold out and even had to change venues for others with greater capacity.
And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
This summer they will go to Japan where they have 3 dates and on the first day they will have a collaboration with the local band Band-Maid which is generating great expectations and is very justified.
They will be part of the Evanescence and Halestorm tour and will also open for Avril Lavigne.
For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.
Gracias y un abrazo desde México!! 🇲🇽

The live version of that performance it is better, but they didnt have control of the festival equipment to make a pro audio recording, and since they were in a rush to release this one just before the Eclipse, they prefered to use the studio version. Check out the version from the London show two weeks ago from Martin TW channel. All of the concert is well recorded by him there. He recorded many EU and UK concerts this past month.

Hi Samantha, I wondered how long it would take you to get back to The Warning, in a year you’ve missed quite a lot; last year they toured Europe with Muse, this year they toured Europe Headlining with sold out venues, some that had to upsize because their demand was so high and they’re going to Japan to do a joint headliner with Band Maid and another 2 gigs with other bands, then they’re doing Wacken open air Festival, one of the biggest Festivals in the world!
