Connie I appreciate you sharing your pictures with visit with Antoinette. I've spoken with her in lives but never met her in person. She's lovely as I pictured. I picked my Grand Princess up from school today and the school had put up a new display of scarecrows. They are so brightly dressed to impress. I need to purchase some Purple and Orange yarn to make my Molly a Somebunny for her Birthday the day before Halloween.

Pretty yarn. I’m usually a blue fan, but my favorite is the opal lavender. Fall is the season for leaves to turn color, pumpkins to become Jack o lanterns, and the scarecrow to do his job.

Beautiful yarn for a beautiful person from a beautiful friend. Glad you and Antionette had a wonderful visit. At the store today, I found a fall festive scarecrow and brought him home and added him to my sunflower pumpkin in the leaves. What a perfect picture. Now to relax and crochet with a cup of coffee. Nugs and JOY!

Hiya Connie! Thank you so much for shouting me out, that was so incredibly sweet and thoughtful of you, I truly appreciate it!
I did just want to clarify that I actually don’t dye yarn, but I do spin yarn. Maybe one of these days I will get into dyeing my own fiber to spin, but for now I purchase fiber that other people have dyed or will spin undyed fiber so people can dye their own yarn.
Anyway, I looooooved looking at all of that amazing yarn Antoinette gifted you, she is something else, isn’t she?! I have literally been left speechless by her generosity and friendship, we are so lucky to have Antoinette in our lives, she is one of a kind!!
I think my favorite yarn was either the burnished….Dangit, I forgot the name, but burnished was one of the words in the name. lol. It was one of the hobby lobby hand dyed.
I just watched a crazy episode of Murder she Wrote the other day that had a gruesome scene with a scarecrow. 😂🤷🏻♀️

My favourite colors are pink, purple, red, and yellow. I used one of those Lion Brand Fair Isle skeins last winter to make the hat, cowl, and gloves set, it really does make the whole set and was not a scarecrow!

I'm so happy you love your goodies! It was hard to decide what to give you bc I had loaded up so much on clearance at hobby lobby last year! I tried to give you stuff I thought you could use bc I know u like thinner yarn to knit, and u love blue pink and purple! Please be sure and show us what you make! Fun meeting you and biscuit! Hi Connie, how lovely you met up with your yarny friend Antionette. She gifted you some amazing yarn. I think my favourite has to be opal violet. I live lots of colours but pinks and purples are my ultimate favourite.
I went browsing in our local craft store today and they had lots of pumpkins and scarecrow. I was very good and came out empty handed 😉 x

Hi Connie I love shades of teal and pink. I haven't tried much of Hobby lobby yarn. My granddaughter wants to be a scarecrow for Halloween. I just subbed to Antoinette. Turquoise sky yarn is my favorite.

Try a little magnifying lenses that hangs from a chain to help you see some of the smaller print. Oma had cataract surgery and she never went anywhere without it. Emerald Green is my favorite, being May baby and my late husband was as well. A close second is fire engine red (retired firefighter here) and then comes lilac. Out of all the various Halloween decorations, we never did a scarecrow. We did the witch into the tree more that a few times, using my daughters old clothes.

The November Sky and Swan Lake yarns are beautiful. My favorite will have to be November Sky. Pound of Love is on my shopping list for my next visit to USA as its not available in SA. Lovely yarn that you were gifted. I have not seen a scarecrow where I stay but in the countryside there are lots.

Hi Teency. Thank you. I'm going to be making some shawls in the future with this yarn. The best time to get hand dyed yarn is when Hobby Lobby does their clearance sale. They usually mark it down between $3 and $4. Hope you are having a fabulous day.
I was going to mention Antoinette's top just as you brought it up. It looks great. I love that Mandala yarn and really want to make myself a longer cardigan out of it but I haven't worked up the nerve to start one yet. I don't think you have anything to worry about with Biscuit.....at least not until he starts asking you to crochet shawls or dresses for his "girlfriend ". 😂 You got a lot of beautiful yarns, can't wait to see what you make with some of them. Your train is adorable, but is that scarecrow qualified to run it?😂
