Hey man. I love your videos so much. That software engineer day in the life video you made however many years ago was one of the things that helped me finalize my decision on being a software engineer.
Fast forward to almost four years later, I’m in my senior year in university and a junior cloud engineer. I recently got this job, and I’ve been loving it so far. Primarily I’m a designer/full stack developer so working with devops and cloud technologies is a new area for me to embrace, but for the new year I plan on learning as much as I can in devops and becoming skilled in the cloud. The best part is all the skills I’m learning at ,y new job can be applied to my web development outside of work.

Gyasi, your videos helped me through college man. I really appreciate the content you put out here. I think a goal for me going into 2023 is improving my skill set as an engineer. Right now I'm in a position where even though it's my job, I don't do much coding. I don't want to fall behind the industry and I want work that's challenging. Are you able to live comfortably in NY with just a software engineering salary? I was thinking about moving there but i know it’s really expensive.

My goal is 2023 land a role in Project Management and obtain a CAPM certificate. So like economics of web2 to Web3 is under theorized and even the granularty of tech isn't even analyzed its just for marketing. But in any case, I did have a really bad stomach last night, my sleep has not been great for months and I had a really scary dream last night. Like yeah I really wish I could just tell someone about this on a biological and tech level but yeah I'm just going to put it here because eventually we going to talk about distribution of tech bio tech and like why not at least have someone who is a great visualizer and like developer. Like if tech is being sold for us to continual be a consumer like why can't we have a critical mass thats comprehensive and fun ( im not fun) and not reductive.
I enjoyed the video, and your editing is really on point. The musical selections are really great. My goal in 2023 is to start my career pivot into coding, stay consistent, and just make it happen. I have a road map, but videos like these keep me motivated and inspired. Also, thanks for sharing those books that you're reading. Atomic Habits was a game changer for me.

This was a really cool video I just stumbled upon. I like the editing and the quality of it. I'm currently a software engineer so it was interesting to me to see how you're transitioning into your path in life. Only nitpick I can say is that during the 2:00-6:30 part the mixing might be a little off. The vocals are coming out of my left ear but none from the right ear. It's only like very low sound of the background track in the right ear. It seems to be fixed in that last section of the video though. Keep up the good work man, you've gained a new subscriber.

This issue is common! Just make sure your vocals are set in mono and not in stereo. When vocals that are recorded in mono are pushed stereo, it hard pushes to the left.
