So sorry we missed this one! This looks like such a beautiful walk. Such clear, crisp and vibrant footage and so relaxing to watch you walk along. Such a nice walking area by the water and love seeing everyone out walking or biking and enjoying the beautiful August weather. Such cute little shops and arcades along the area! So many fast food options or ice cream locations wow! And an amusement section too, so many carnival rides. How fun! The land train is cool too! Thanks for the great tour you guys! :)

The promenade is awesome ! I’d probably take the little train ride a few times haha. Arcades are always fun young and adults. A bit of a Niagara Falls vibe here with all the sights. Lovely beach and beautiful views. I really enjoyed your wonderful walking tour. Thank you 👍😊🇨🇦

I love how beach towns in england have promenades so everyone can enjoy the beach. Here in Florida the majority of towns have sold out to developers who build massive high rise hotels right on the beach cutting off the view from the road and severely limiting access to day trippers who arent staying in one of the hotels.

Lovely seashore and stroll, Jill and Nick. Enjoyed all the shops and food available. 🍦🍨🐟🍔🍟🍤❗Sadly, our version of Wendy's doesn't have 🧇🧇, but does have Root Beer! The bar did look lovely. How many 🍺🍺off camera? YT restrictions and all. Fun for all the families and tramps. Cracking views and big heads! Just like the young lady I wonder if I'm going on YT too. Loved the young man trying to escape on the Land Train. He sure would have gotten away from me! 🤣🤣Thanks for bringing us along.

Hi Jill & Nick Hope you are on the up and back to 100% soon ... so frustrating to be under the weather just before your hols 😣 Thanks for the walking tour. I've never been to Brid ... looks like a great place to keep fit ... all those miles of proms !! I often look at places with a different perspective after pushing my dad around some not so easily accessible places in a wheelchair .. this looked really good with lots of wide, clean level proms ... harbour & beach looked super. Oh the rain ... well it was August !!
Hi Christine, Jill here, we are getting there, I still can’t taste or smell anything which is annoying but both generally feeling better and brighter I am going to test again tomorrow so fingers crossed! We do love Bridlington and to be fair out of all the places on our coast would definitely say it is the most wheelchair friendly! they were hilarious Phil, thanks for watching by the way, there really isn’t any need to, they are the kind of video i hope finds a different audience. people that kind of have these things on in the background, i do too. if im visiting a place or looking forward to going back somewhere you can guarantee we have a walking video on the telly as we go about our daily business getting us into the mood. its that sort of thing. i do have an interest in the difference between summer and winter in popular spots and a greater interest in the changing place of the high street so im also filming as some sort of record that might become very topical in a few years..
we had to stop filming after passing them, the kids and parents were very inquisitive about our filming. thankfully i have jill walking a few paces behind dealing with such matters. because of how well the situation ended i thought id keep the segment in..
@@GENerationXplorers Nick I think it’s a great idea to think of it as some sort of catalogue of changes.
Around the area I live was very green and rural until about 7 years ago, before they started building massive housing estates. As a form of catalogue I flew the drone ever the areas and farm houses as way of remembrance. I’ve also gone over them in the different stages of build. All very sad to me but interesting to document 👍
Yeah its very important Phil, its likely that there isn’t many or anyone else doing it the way we are being able to. Documenting new builds and green areas in decline is absolutely spot on! 👍
So so nice here. We went once possibly twice here years ago so it was nice to see it again. It looks different to what I remember. Didn't know there was a spa there 😃
Hope you are both feeling better, I ended up having to go to the eye hospital yesterday to get steroid and anti inflammatory eye drops so am not on RUclips as much until it all clears, just having to do what I can in bits, they reckon I'll be sorted by 2 weeks max so I'll catch you when I can! 👍~ Anna
RUclips is gonna miss you Anna but you need to get yourself better! We are coming out the other side of covid so not great but better than we felt! You must have missed that Bridlington has 2 sides north and south! the Spa is on the south promenade there is not as much going on that side but is still lovely! Take care and get well soon ❤️

It is very charming little town. Shops are mainly old fashioned. I saw some shops with shutters closed. Hope it was just their day offs.

Bridlington, I've not been since the mid 90s. It looks like some of it has had a bit of a face-lift in the last 25 years 😂 I liked the wally trolley. Seagulls are still the same though😂. Can't believe you weren't tempted with a new bucket hat!
Hi Andy Jill here had to help out with comments as Nick inundated with comments from his boarded up Scarborough 😳 love that name Wally trolley 😂 I have been tempted to get him a selection of bucket hats but those on the sea fronts are always one size and too small for his head! It has had a few touch ups we do like brid! Enjoy the rest of your week 👍❤️

Bridlington has more fish and chip shops per square mile than anywhere in the uk who can blame them 👍
