Lovely to see someone a large audience giving the older buses at NXWM the attention they deserve ! As for suggestions for future videos in the region, definitely consider a video at the Coventry operation in the near future. With it going all Electric all of the diesel buses will be history in a few years time, so would be worth documenting. If you’d like to sample more Tridents you could try some of the Yardley Wood based examples, which operate a few routes around South Birmingham and Solihull, predominately operated by the type like the 59 in Wolverhampton.
The West Midlands is nearly full of Tridents and B7 Buses in service . Diamond Buses have older buses too they got Dennis Darts 54 to 06 plates which you can find on the 002 , 4 , 4H or 401E services .
The reason Coventry is being turned over to all Electric buses first is that it is only a small part of West Midlands Travel Limited the legal owners, but there may still be Diesel buses running into Coventry for a while on the X1 service between Birmingham and Coventry operated by Birmingham Central Garage, the largest part of West Midlands Travel is the actual fleet operated in the West Midlands area which has a mixture of Diesel, Electric, Hydrogen and Hybrid buses.
Should review our new e400 evs aswell as the hybrids like you said. Hybrids can be found on the 51 from Walsall to Birmingham most often. They also have some metrodeckers used by diamond that are ex Johnson’s excel bus which would be nice to see on your channel.
Nice! NXWM have removed most of there Gemini 1s. Most B7TL ALX400s have been now scraped. You should Try and Go on the 11A/C Service NXWM mainly Use E400MMC ZFs but sometimes NX uses B7TL ALX400s
Hey alex, amazing video. I just wanted to say that Stagecoach Midlands have received a load of solos from Wales and it might be a good video if you tried to ride as many as possible like you did here with the tridents. At the moment I believe there are 4 sr’s and 10 of the original solos.
I live here and to be honest, alot of routes are run with tridents, the 79, 59, 82 (sometimes), 27 (sometimes), 7(sometimes) and a heck load more. Eclipse 2's in NX are very good especially the new ones with the grey livery.
NXWM have a ton of B7RLEs which are really nice and I recommend that you ride the 16 route from Wolverhampton to Stourbridge as its my favorite and it has loads of tridents

Sorry to point it out, you're pronunciation of Wednesfield at Wednesbury is a bit off, it's a silent D a bit like Wednesday, hope this helps :))
Timed that well kidda, Tridents now a rarity on the 59, sad after a reign of over 20 years :'(
I mean this takes “I like tridents” to a whole nother level

They haven’t removed most of the Gemini 1s, only 10 have been withdrawn ignoring the ones that moved up to Dundee
@Chiltern Transport Productions They’re loads still at West Brom
"there's nothing but dennis tridents running every 6 minutes". that aged like milk
