Man, the Germans know how to build cars,and the roads to drive them on.
I wish I could confirm the good road conditions here in germany but they're actually really fucked in southern germany and generally in the western/south of ger. Only the east has very good roads due to the money we spent on infastructure there....

+jerusdc Thank you, 30 hp not noticable much but there's a difference for sure. GTS is a good car though I miss the 997 turbo s, it is a beast. Exhausts are standard on all carreras I drove.
Ended up getting a C4S with Sport Exhaust . Really happy.

Why does the car struggle to reach 290 km/h? Did you go a bit easy on the throttle or is it just that way. Its a ravishing car though!

papoopa5800 Because it's the 4 wheel drive version. These are heavier and slower than the two wheel drive versions.
It 'only' has 430 hp. About 80 or even more are lost at the wheels because of 4wd, so it's not a mindblowingly fast performer in a straight line.
papoopa5800 Yes because 290 is real real slow... this seems fast as **** next to your Skoda no doubt.. it's called wind resistance.. every car suffers it at those speeds..

Dear Frank, thanks a lot for your reply! Sorry, I assumed you were German, so let me write in English now. I really do like the 991 GTS Cabrio a lot, but it just does not have the aura of a Ferrari, which is a legend. Also, the 458 Spider is just a very good car! However, it is more expensive to purchase (about 50.000 Euros difference on the 2nd hand car market) and more expensive to maintain than a 991 GTS (I am talking about Germany). As regards depreciation, I guess the prices for a used 458 Spider will still go down considerably in the next years. Currently, a 458 Spider (1 owner, car dealer and not from private, no accident, no re-paint, full service history, red color) in excellent original condition cost about 185.000 Euros in Germany. A 991 GTS Cabrio in the same condition cost about 135.000 Euros, thus about 50.000 less than a 458 Spider. I guess the 991 GTS Cabrio will also depreciate over the next years. It's really a hard decision: should I wait 2-3 years more to save tens of thousands of Euros due to depreciation? Should I get a 458 Spider or a 991 GTS Cabrio? I am still undecided.
Expect around 15-20% depreciation per year for both models. There are some exceptions though, ie; Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche GT3 RS would appreciate per year. Obviously they are not cabrio and the price range is higher than your intended budget.
Porsche GTS looks very good with red brake calipers and darkened alloys, it set itself apart from other 911 range nicely. I think you can buy a GTS that would turn heads should you pick one with a nice colour.
Ferrari 458 will depreciate a little less but you pay €50k more, not to mention the maintenance be higher than a Porsche :(
I'd buy a red 458 over a GTS if I had to pick one and the money was not an issue. You would be happy with either of those cars. Both amazing.

It's a Sony action cam mount. Not sure if it fits but worth checking the photos on google maybe you figure something out.

Krasen Maximov when you have alot of experience and the traffic looks clearly it is fine. Also the car is not overspeeding still under 300 Km/h the wheels look fine ( i can see speed woppeling or traction lose)

Hab den Neuen "GT4" bei mir in Essen schon paar mal in Gelb gesehen..schön mit schwarzen Felgen. Sieht sehr auffällig schön aus. In Schwarz sieht er eher aus wie ein Holzkohle-Brikett :D Aber über Geschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich gut streiten. Aber egal... Hauptsache PORSCHE!! :)

Hallo Stefan. Ja fuhr ich ein Coupé 458 Ferrari. Es war eine schöne Fahrt und viel Aufmerksamkeit von den Menschen. Wenn Sie die Aufmerksamkeit und viel Geld wollen bekommen 458. Wenn Sie Zuverlässigkeit bevorzugen und bescheiden eine GTS bekommen sein. Es ist eine Frage der Wahl. Viel Glück damit. Lassen Sie mich wissen, wenn Sie kaufen. Tschüss
