Kong was often noted for lack of awesome offensive power. However, he was one of the best all-time chopper killer. The way he beat choppers is not over powering them, like Xu Xin, but controlling them by moving them left and right, back and forth, then, pick and hit. Choppers usually beat attackers by outlasting them and inducing lots of errors. Well, Kong was so consistent and just didn't make errors. Eventually, it was choppers who started to make mistakes.

Actually Lin Gao Yuan has no aggressive forehand either. The key of playing against choppers is not power, but the accuracy and position.
