The thing about cats in particular, the person that feeds them is not necessarily the person they love. They make their own decisions as to who is deserving. And when they do give their love, it is unbelievably unconditional. They know when you’re sick and they will comfort you. Do you know when you’re upset and they will try to calm you. The cats want attention on their terms, but if they love you, they will except your terms as well. I have three cats. I didn’t even want one cat. Oh my three cats I have that one special cat who takes care of me. When I have cancer, he was always there reassuring me. He was constantly checking my breath to see how I was. He comes when I he’s called. And if he doesn’t want to come, he answers me, but then he’ll get up and come.
I have a dog also, as she is every bit as sweet and dedicated to me. I am so fortunate to have two such wonderful animals in my life.

The guy eating one piece of food his cat on the other end reminded me of cat number two. I’d be on one side of an ear of corn, Taco would be on the other and we’d finish the cob together. I had no idea he liked corn.

There are three cats in my house, in fact, my room right now fast asleep on my bed where I was just a few minutes ago. All three cats have their respective personalities and owners (only one is technically my own), but they all have decided upon themselves that I am their human being and safe place to relax at. I really don’t mind at all, I enjoy being around them. They know how I feel when I’m depressed or happy, they have their moments of joy and sibling rivalry over me which is absolutely adorable, but I kind of like that to stop - I have so much love to share with them all!
I used to kiss my cat my big sister always said "eew don't kiss it licks its bum" and I always said "you do worse and I kiss you!" (actually I didn't). I hate when people call cats "it" and I hate when people say eew just for a kiss. Cats are very clean and nobody ever died from kissing their cat (except if your cat is a lion then is not advisable) :o)

My girl loves to mark me and be in my lap. She’s now in bed. Her brother is sleeping next to me on the couch. I’m curled up and he’s on top of my right hip. He also likes to supervise my cooking and both wait for me to wake up in the morning, get their morning greeting, and we all stampeded downstairs for breakfast. When I have the huggies I pick up my big boy and give him a big hug. He’s built like a tank so I can hug him hard. His sister is more dainty. I cuddle her on my lap hugging very lightly. Both get a morning, afternoon and good night kiss in the forehead.

I had a male Siamese cat who would eat hot peppers, and it never seemed to phase him. He also had an episode where i turned my back and he lapped up a half a glass of scotch. Wishing I could post the picture of him half in the bag. It was too cute.

I have always loved cats my whole life but hairless cats are kinda creepy and not really petable because their fur is part of everything they are.
