  • In this quick video I demonstrate how to easily grind a polish a leathered edge on any stone. The leather finish has become very popular in the last couples years. It's great for outdoors, and also for high use areas. This finish holds up extremely well. It's also very easy to fix if you so happen to get chips or scratches. I definitely recommend that you have this edge in your arsenal. Thanks for watching

Thanks to all who watch and like my videos. It's much appreciated. Crazy how many views they have gotten over the years. I wish I could put out more content. It's one of my goals to step up my game and shoot for at least one video a month.
Thanks again and sorry for the "feet with chicken legs" shot. Had to leave it in for no good reason.

Never, never add music to any DIY or demo! The video was great but the music hurt my ears and drowned out all natural sounds which I need to hear to learn. Never add music to any DIY, demo, tour, cooking, or animal video. Silence is golden. Natural sounds only please.
This leathering on granite with silicon carbide brushes is what I do to my wood slabs to antique them. A truly beautiful finish!

    How about porcelain

Will not work with porcelain. Stay away from large format porcelain sheets. Learned a lesson that took 8 years to learn.

I cut slabs of porcelain. Today it was a 3cm. But it's leathered. Our guys were using the brushes but it doesn't leather porcelain
