- How much of Kazuha's damage comes from his Elemental Mastery, and how much from his abilities (Attack, Anemo Damage, Crit Rate/Damage) in a Mono-Electro and Electro-Charged setup?
This video emerged as the result of personal tests aimed at figuring out how I should build my Kazuha for Keqing/Beidou and Keqing/Xingqiu specifically. I was prepared to sacrifice some of Kazuha's personal damage if it buffed my carries by a significant amount, but that was unnecessary as Kazuha doesn't even deal less damage on Full Elemental Mastery than he does on ATK/ANEMO/CRIT.

I do not claim that Full EM Kazuha is always better and in every team composition, and personally I'm more a fan of big green numbers, but the EM buffs and Kazuha's Elemental DMG buffs are very noticeable, to say the least.

@@Benalecjohn But if you look at the c2 constellations detail it says the 15% hydro resist decrease is only for rain sword damage, I've already test it with Childe, His damage remains the same the only difference is the first hit of Xingqiu burst and the second hit of Xingqiu burst, So it's shred only for his Rain sword(Burst) not going to decrease a hydro swirl damage or any other hydro damage except his rain sword

@@dielukes not true, xingqiu's res shred is a ordinary res shred like VV and Childe will benefit from it. Try testing it again, it may be the case that other buffs expired when you were testing.

This is the best video explaining Kazuha. He’s one of, if not the best support in certain scenarios. Buffs the whole team’s dmg beyond what’s achievable, shreds resistance, has great CC, obliterates shields, has aoe and his A4 talent passive is just broken. I clear Abyss way faster ever since I got him.

What cup are you using?
@@alfredbarretto I use Anemo cup for normal play and switch to EM cup whenever I fight Boreas. You can also use specific element cup to increase the absorbed element damage

I have been farming for Venti since I got him in his rerun. I literally had like 10 EM pieces only 2 with decent substats hahaha so I'm keeping the crit build cause I also like the big green numbers and EM pieces are so rare somehow!

10 EM pieces, oh u lucky. I farmed viri domain the most and i havent got a single one (i have xiao sucrose qiqi and mained them for a while, so i abused that domain a lot). Idk if i got rid of EM pieces before even knowing abt Kazuha existence, but it hurts i cant get a single one anymore T_T

People forget that swirl IS a reaction, but we can do more than one element swirled at once, making it op compared to the others.
My Sucrose has 641 EM right now. She seems to be my best DPS 🤔

6:30 Personally, I’ve never felt my options were limited by the mere presence of a strongest option in a game where anything can easily clear. But EM being the strongest build on a character who can only be the trigger in reactions, has an artifact set that boosts reactions and shreds resistances, and has a passive talent that buffs the team based on EM is just common sense. If EM wasn’t the best option on Kazuha or Sucrose, it’d actually just mean that EM was underperforming. If it was at the point where every main dps wanted to run 3 EM pieces, I could see wanting some balance, but Kazuha was made to be built for EM, to the extent that even his signature weapon has it as a substat. I think his main dps potential being locked behind c6 is way more of an issue than EM being strong.
I noticed that when playing. The damage you lose in anemo, you get it when you do swirl because it makes a lot more of damage, plus, you buff your team better

This is the video my friend sent me awhile back that made me build Kazuha in full EM. Just coming back to say massive thank you. Seriously, he’s so fun to play and part of it is because he’s strong (due to this build). For someone who missed out on Venti and Xiao banners, I was dead set on getting Kazuha. I’m so glad I did. He never leaves my team now 😄
If I could add! This also applies to kazuha carry overload teams due to him being able to buff beidou while proccing overloads using his EM
It's a pretty hard to master style of play, but it's honestly scary how fast my abyss clears are with this team
Running overload also enables you to bring bennett, or not and use xinyan's shield proc instead

Back when abyss had the Pyro and anemo fatui agents I remember that venti Mona and fischl were able to delete all of them with a single venti q. I can't imagine what it would do now.

I've had Kazuha since the day his 1st banner arrived and I've been playing him with DPS gear this entire time. (simped so hard I felt it a crime to weaken his anemo abilities)
1 year later he now sits as the lone male harem in my beidou-koko-miko team and I'm slowly starting to see the value of his EM buffs, especially when the main dps' of this team are both catalyst users (kokomiko). You video just solidified my decision to go full EM so thank you so much for all your explanations for this!

Thas some crazy detail on the vid. I'm currently running a sub DPS/EM build? Noblesse 2pc and Viridescent 2pc, abt 49/162 crit rate and dmg, abt 425 EM and that seems to strike the perfect balance for my team. Kaz is just too fun to play to run purely as a quick switch support lol
I just like seeing my Kazuha himself do high Anemo damage as opposed to watching small numbers but the swirls doing all the damage. Maybe if the game ever gets truly difficult where building optimally I'd go the EM route but as of now I prefer going full damage. I was thinking about an EM Sands at least though but I don't know if that would be good.
I run atk%, crit rate/dmg and a EM sands, and skyward blade, he's at 382 EM and still does good swirl dmg because swirl can crit.. so its not bad by any means.

Nice video, glad you made this so I don't have to! Much props, I personally now how much time frame counting transformative reaction damage and comparing them manually takes.
One very nice thing to note is that if you were to add Bennett to this team, either with double electro ( Keqing + Beidou ) or electro / hydro ( Keqing + Xingqiu ), Kazuha would then gain access to Overload. Since Bennett consistently applies Pyro to your active character, and Pyro is the highest priority for his absorption, his Skill plunge and Burst will always absorb Pyro. In the case of electro/hydro, Kazuha is able to both Electro-charged AND Overload. Directly causing Overload with Kazuha with the EM build you showcased would result in an almost 21k Overload.
Finding every 12k tick within a pile of purple is certainly time-consuming :D thanks for the bennett tip! Might try that as well soon

good thinking, was spending a good one minute thinking about that too
my favourite kazuha comp has been with Bennett and Klee, I hate Klee's playstyle personally so she was benched like a month after i got her back in 1.0 in favour of DPS i'd enjoy using, but with Kazuha, I started to use Klee again, it's so satisfying seeing her jumpty dumpties being pulled in by Kazuha's vortex, and him with bennett buffing Klee's damage to the maximum, her charged attacks dealt over 40k without any reactions after being amplified by kazu and bennett, it felt crazy damage to me. Only the 4th character i've trouble choosing, split between using Zhongli for Shield and RES shred, Jean for heals (i play with constant 250 ping so dodging can sometime be derpy), Chongyun for Melt and more ability spam with his C2, Venti for more CC
Zhongli is good because of her short range and squishy-ness.
I have a possible explanation for that peculiar hydro swirl number: in the in game update notices it says
"When a character triggers a Swirl reaction with multiple elements against multiple enemies at the same time, the
character will take abnormal damage. This issue will be fixed in a later update,,,"
I actually don't know what exactly this is referring to (I had a moment of panic where I thought they were talking about double swirl,,,) but perhaps it is an instance of that?
I would love some more clarification on what the exact issue is if you know.
My current world team to just have fun with is Klee, Jean, Kazuha and Xingqiu, its so fun to use the anemo powers to move Klee's bombs around. But it isnt built into an abyss capable level yet, but even with a really underpowered kazuha, when i added him to my abyss clear 2 weeks ago with the swirl blessings he was crazy strong and best in slot for that clear. Theres no doubt in my mind EM is the only way to go unless you're a whale with a main DPS C6 kazuha.

In any case you just need 2 of the three main artifacts in EM, the other one can be an off piece, and since getting feather and flower is super easy you can achieve it in about a week or two of resin into vv domain.

Another full EM advantage is that you don't have to hold the skill since you know a bigger anemo multiplier is not worth it. That's 3 skills vs 2 on a 18 second interval and 9 anemo particles against 8.
I see a lot of Kazuha mains always hold E and the spending NINE seconds tickling the enemies.
I myself main Kazuha but I don't hold his E at all and find it useless because it doesn't increase swirl and absorbed element damage, which are his main sources of damage

This is my kazuha bible. I've watched this video at least 10 times now.
Great vid! I have both builds. Aquila for his more standard build (atk sands/ anemo cup/ crit head) because i love his autos so much. I use that for running around the overworld. That being said, i forgot to switch him for abyss today and still 36 star'd it. That also being said, abyss is pretty damn easy lol.
I got really lucky and got the 5 star sword "freedom sworn" for Kaz and it makes him super OP. I seen videos where people didnt use the correct team while showcasing it so people were trashing it but basically without it allies get the 15% atk bonus you speak of and with it allies do an extra 20% which would equal 35% more damage! My Diluc with zero food buffs or anything does about almost 100k ON JUST THE FIRST PROC OF HIS ULT!
My team is Diluc (Crimson Witch), Kazuha (VV and 900EM), Xingqiu(Hydro Dmg and ULT Dmg), Zhongli(Full Noblese).
My rotation is:
1. Activate Zhongli shield for decrease resistance
2. Use Zhongli ULT to give team Noblese Dmg bonus
3. Hit enemy 1x with Diluc elemental skill to apply fire( I only do it once so I can hurry up and get to the big damage before the Noblese Dmg boost runs out)
4. Use Kazuha ULT which resonates with fire giving my Diluc around 30% more fire damage bonus!! And Kazuhas VV combines with Zhongli's shield to shred enemies fire resistance by about 60%!!! And if your a whale or if you get super lucky like me, the Freedom sworn increases Dmg by 20% very similar to Noblese effect!
5. Use Xingqiu ULT and skill to apply vaporize (If I remember correctly the Zhongli Noblese Dmg boost runs out around here, I dont remember if it makes it to the next part off the top of my head)
6. Switch to Diluc and *DISCOMBOBULATE* . Doing Dilucs ULT with all those buffs and Vaporize effect is super broken. Especially after the Dilucs ULT aswell where the buffs are still active and I constantly spam Dilucs skill and normal attack to proc Xinqui's water back n forth. I easily complete Abyss with all 3 stars for the first time because of this team.
Idk if this is the best "Fire" team that can be created but I wanted to ask if an electro main dps would be higher dmg total than having Diluc as my main dps?
Also I'm missing a EM goblet for Kaz so whenever I get it my EM should be around 1020EM, I'm using a Atk% one for now so my Kaz sitting at 900EM and 1800Atk which is actually really good since it's best of both worlds.
