It is interesting how different grammar structures and concepts in native languages get in the way when you're trying to stride into a new one, I'm no native English speaker, and I remember my own loud of mismatching troubles when I started putting English sentences together back in my beginner days... I don't know how much training they had in English but they get the meaning across, that's your first solid foot placed in the doorway... the rest is just practice, exposure and time...
