Paul this walk is SO GOOD I watched it twice! Absolutely amazing. I need to get over to your part of the world. Thank you so much for making these beautiful videos. K
Spectacular walk, Paul. You out did yourself on this one. Well worth the wait. I love to see old buildings, castles, and bridges of the past. This video was very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic walk Paul! Such rich history and the area is very beautiful! Love all the stone and brickwork, the bridge was terrific! Mrs. W would have been on top of the wall picking those apples in a flash! I filled the dehydrator with apple slices this morning and I'll keep it full until I'm stocked up for the winter. Thank you for bring us along! Sincerely, Ossie
Nice walk that Paul. Feel like I've had my exercise for the day before going to work! Some beautiful views their, a lovely town. Thanks for taking us along.
Nice place Ruthin, great video enjoyed it, my dad worked up nant Clwyd did all the decorating for Sir Philip got some lovely photos of the hall and gardens when my dad took them wile he worked there take care have a great week-end 😀
Lovely little village! How nice it would be to stay in a castle just once. Read the history online. Begun in 1277 (bailey and moat)). Wow! Thanks very much for the tour Paul!
Wow! Real Tudor architecture! On the rare occasion my hubby is with me, he complains I swing the camera around too fast! I prefer to go alone! He's a surgeon so he's steady hands and very precise. It's annoying as hell though when you're trying to start out on my own! He's not allowed to come anymore. lol. That's why I never put up too many videos, I would rather not hear his critique. I sneak away! That town is beautiful, my God! 1401! All that history and it's managed to survive so much. The beauty of the stone used on some of the buildings. We have Tudor style homes here but they certainly don't have the history attached. Recently I have come across some older settlements but nothing comparable to what you have. We have so many different climates though, that's what we have. You want a white sandy beach, we got em. You want snow topped mountains, we got em. We got forests and lakes that are half ocean half fresh water. I love the geography of the US. Just jump on a plane and presto, there's a desert too! It's very interesting and vast and I never have to worry about a foreigner not liking a "yank" for some bizarre reason yet wanting the tourist dollars. I have been coming to Britain for years and lately I have noticed a distinct change after brexit even towards us your brothers so to speak. Right? You're the mum land and suddenly real hatred toward us since Brexit. Sorry for the rant, just don't get it. The hatred. I have friends and relatives scattered all around Britain except Wales. Too bad, it's so gorgeous there. I console myself with Cornwall and other isles. Thanks for the tour. When Christmas roles around and we do out annual I'm definitely stopping in Wales. It must be gorgeous during the holidays. Something happened with Brexit. It's ugly like America can get. Not used to seeing it there. I love Britain, one of my favourite places! I never want it to become like America! It has a history and charm we will never have.
Great walk that Paul. Thanks for acting as guide and giving us the best of your knowledge of the area. Just one thing missing. Big G! Come on - it's crying out for a G & P treatment. 😉
Just amazing area. You are so lucky to live there. I would love if my family could stay at the castle. You should write a Denbigh and outlying areas history/travel guide. You know so much I bet you could write one. Thank you for sharing the great scenes. :)
cool place went here and Corwen last year done almost same walk at the main town centre the old house (the bank now)supposed to most haunted house in wales apparently. also looks like a little man or goblin standing by the tree at 21:12
Great walk, Paul. Feel like I'm walking, though just laying in my bed watching this. Beautiful area. You use that Boots to buy some of you Wilkinson stuff in ? Now that you are Castle Street, please Remember to get Castle Forbes Lime soon 😊😆 Cheers, Claus from Copenhagen Denmark
I recently got Castle Forbes Lime and love it. I'm sure Paul will love it too. Great scent and so thick and creamy! Hopefully he will show us how he likes it in a video soon. :)
Haha! Did you see the tail on that sheep! Are you sure that was a sheep and not a wolf wearing a sheep skin! He had a three foot tail and yes it was a most enjoyable walk thank you so much I get so hungry on these walks I always want to stop and get a sandwich out of the pack and sit and just watch the scenery and take it all in! Them swans are killers they'll go for ya jugulars if they have a chance! could have taken one home for the o'l Halogen for the Saturday evening H&S! :-) Thank you for the walk I really enjoyed it! Mark in Texas!
Hey Paul, thank you for an awesome private tour. Yes, I really enjoyed it. Much different than Los Angeles. :) By the way, how come you didn't save that poor little girl getting attacked by geese at 13:35? Were you not wearing your Super Hero cape at the time? LOL. Cheers, Mark
Very Much Enjoyed It!!! 3 quick points: #1. It's kind of funny that you guys(across the pond) refer to "Ponds" as Lakes.. :D #2. Was the "stink" in the short tunnel from urine or more of a brackish water smell? #3. Roundabouts terrify me! They are not common in my location but I've had to drive through a few times and it is not fun. :-)
The smaller ones are known as ponds especially in parks, then the larger ones or natural ones are lakes....the smell was of animal urine (I hope).....roundabouts or rotary I think you call them, can be a nightmare yes..lol.
cuz it is very relaxing. I loved Ireland when I was there....I want to go back and even see all of the mainland of the uk... this time to camp and hike. the small town I live in doesn't look like that (Wales). nothing but cornfields and stinky feed lots here. lol...seriously, you are so blessed it ain't even funny.

The wife worked in the castle before joining Royal Mail. It's a nice castle.
It is a nice Castle.
I thought you might have shown your viewers the memorial for Formula 1 driver Tom Pryce but it never happened
This was a walking video of the area, the memorial was in Clwyd St which wasn't on my route on this day.
