Holy cow, there's different versions of some of these scenes!? I saw a playthrough of this game where Vincent stays dead at the beginning and the Umbrella Soldier gets killed by the Tyrant, so I was wondering what happened to Andy. I figured he just died when the island blew up, but it looks like there were other options for him.
Maybe it's bias speaking, but I prefer the option of the Umbrella Soldier dying in the end. I hate it when characters survive big drops like Vincent's and survive for no reason and Andy seemed like too good a guy to die for a misunderstanding. With the Umbrella Soldier, Vincent remains a more interesting off-screen villain and Andy doesn't have to get run through by the Tyrant...even if his fate is left up in the air.
Allowing the player to choose how the game progresses- for a game that wasn't well received, this was quite a revolutionary feature
This game in my opinion deserve the remake treatment. Good storyline, a man facing against amnesia, monsters & a friend of Leon.

That’s why you kids aren’t game designers.
They should make it into a real Resident Evil game with the RE Engine and with the gameplay of 2 and 3 remakes.
“My head aches and I can’t remember anything… my only hope is this gun.” is honestly a sick opening line for a rail shooter.

I can't dislike this game because of this moment. It destroyed me the first time I played the game. I thought 'Vincent' had seriously lost his marbles, hearing the disembodied voice of his mother. A delightfully cheesy WTF moment.

U missunderstand it, old movies shows scenes like this, first u get diferent point of views of same exact second, this looks like vincent gets shot, and after dodges but actually he dodges at same time than bullets, hope u get it, sorry my english
@@LuisCallejoni get what they were trying to do but its not properly done here, notice when the camera is back on ark as he rolls, theres 1 last shot fired, that means during the first couple of shots Ark was just standing there, what they should've did was put the camera back on ark, have sewer man repeat his "Die!" line and start shooting as Ark dodges out of they way.

The plot of Resident Evil Survivor follows around an agent called Ark Thompson who was requested by Leon Scott Kennedy to infiltrate an Umbrella facility. He managed to breach security in the Umbrella-controlled Sheena Island by impersonating the leader of the Umbrella facility, Vincent Goldman.
Goldman, after being told of Ark by a small boy, Lott Klein, causes an outbreak intentionally, causing him to lose his memory and his train of thought. Thus, the game begins with Ark not remembering who he is.
Ark's journey through the island slowly leads him to believe he is Vincent Goldman and is responsible for the horrible experiments conducted on the children brought to the island. Ark slowly learns of Vincent's actions and encounters a small boy named Lott and his sister Lily Klein.
They at first run and attempt to attack Ark, but they slowly learn to trust him after Ark attempts to save Lott for his sister. Making his way through the city, and into the Tyrant Plant, Ark encounters multiple B.O.W.'s on the island he must combat. This includes Zombies, Cerberus', Lickers, Hunters, and T-103s.
In the Tyrant Plant, Vincent attempts to kill Ark but is instead killed by the experimental Tyrant Hypnos-T Type. After a brief battle, Ark appears to have killed the creature and continues on.
Eventually, the boy and his sister are reunited and proceed to escape the island with Ark, who by now has remembered who he was and why he was on the island. They proceed to an elevator that takes them to a helipad for escape.
The Hypnos-T Type Tyrant has since then changed forms and attacks Ark again, after a small battle, the creature finally turns into its third and final form. After a battle on the helipad, Ark finally appears to have killed the creature and proceeds to the helicopter for escape. As the three fly off, the creature tries to bring down their helicopter and jumps onto it, Ark then fires two missiles at the creature, finally killing it for good.
The game ends with a scene of the helicopter flying into the distance, Ark telling the children that he doesn't know what will happen next, but can keep flying as long as they have fuel.

Yes, Raccoon City was always a midwestern town based on the graphic novel series, book novel series, and the first 3 (canon) video games. It never was a “major city.” Ignore the movie franchise, because they are not going by the RE trilogy.

Yes, Ark Thompson suffered from Amnesia due to the helicopter crash.
Fortunately, later in the game, Ark's memories surge back, and he recalls his mission to put the Umbrella facility out of commission.

The guy in Resident Evil: Damnation who looks very similar to Ark Thompson is Alexander "Sasha" Kozachenko (also known as Buddy).
They both look very much alike but they are two separate characters.
