This is how a review is done! Raw, straightforward , informative and no holds barred constructive criticisms. CapCut is evolving , as a user I do enjoy editing quick videos in it. Love this channel , keep educating us!
I never knew you were gonna make a video about this software but you did. I used this software to edit my videos. And I can confirm that it is really easy to use. Even making the video zoom in and out is really simple. You just have to use keybinds to make zooming in or out possible. The best part about CapCut is that it’s the only free editing software that doesn’t have a free trial (which is basically where you have it for free for a couple days then have to pay for it to use it ever again eventually). Meaning not only it’s free, but if you get it for free you can have it forever.
Free version of Capcut was the first app I used on the mobile side for editing. Like yourself , I’ve tried other desktop programs before so I was aware of some of the “import”ant terminology. In this time I picked up useful tips and learned by just trying the app and seeing what stuff does. Applying it as I can to the videos like captions, effects and sounds.
If you take the time to check out what each button does you'll see the program has such a lot more, such as splitting audio from video. You seemed to have rushed in nstead of checking it out first. I create many videos with it and I'm an 82 year old videographer.
CapCut is great. However, after few tries I came back to DaVinci Resolve. One point that should be metioned is that the Transcript Editing feature is no longer available for free on the newest version. If I am not wrong the last version that had it for free was 3.40.
Interesting, if I wasn't use to DaVinci Resolve yet, I would have switched. The text base editing is something I wish was in the free version where it is in this. It's really a good starting point for beginners.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr well, CapCut is free, so, i'll give it a world... i've had Resolve for over 3 months now, and i'm STILL trying to learn things... i watched some of YOUR tutorials as well as other tutorials, but Resolve is still too complex for me...
I cant export my video to my files or directly to youtube on the free version.. I know its possible but capcut just isnt doing it for me.. Could you maybe do a run through on the free versions export process.. TIA
Buddy.....I paid $75 for a CAPCUT Masterclass from another guy your age BUT he's on a MAC. I'd HAPPILY pay $75 AGAIN to you for a WINDOWS version . You in?
I am a long way from a master in the software. This was the first time I used it, It maay seem like I know a lot about it because I have been editing for years with other software, and the concepts are basically the same on any software.

This was the first time I looked at it at all. I have used Davinci and Permier for years.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr once you get the hang of it, it's great

thanks for the update!
I love it compared to adobe. So simple and easy, cuts work time in half at least.
It is very easy.
Thanks Michael. Great review!
Glad you liked it!

Absolutly
I use CapCut for my editing on both my regular video uploads and my video shorts
Nice!
I've not got any notifications from your channel for a long while. That's strange.
Welcome back!
hey i always wonder why ur voice sounds different in the shot of u speaking vs the screensharing part of your video ?/
Mostly just distance from the mic and the angle I sit at to do the tutorial piece. The screen I look at is pointing away from the mic.
its nice and all, but, since i've already invested money into DaVinci Resolve, why would i need CapCut????
Its not for everyone, ut its great for beginners.
