@@Issem21can It's got nothing to do with how good it is as a competitive game. Plenty of worse games get played at tournaments. Storm's death sentence is that ever since the early days of the series, it was completely disconnected from the fighting game community. No one knew how to get a local scene going or how to talk to tournament organizers. Meanwhile, Naruto GNT in its earlier days was played by a lot of fighting game players that already had examples to follow.
Because a certain pathogen is still around and can mess with people’s bodies regardless. So, a crowded event increases the risk of catching that and wearing a mask can protect yourself.

Storm isn’t designed to be arcade fighter like Clash of Ninja was, considering the studio is known to make pure arcade fighters.
Storm series is a arena fighter, and arena fighters aren't tourney worthy. CoN series is actual fighting game series.
