Pedro Blanco the legendary drummer who played the drumset for many reggae bands at the Bob Marley festival years ago, was on this album of Isanigu Punta Rock Soul-Jahs back in 1997!!!

Yes indeed we had to hire him to come finish the percussion part of the album because the band members were in the studio recording this album day and night for 4 consecutive days. They recorded it at the Univision studio in Anaheim, CA then they flew back to NY on Monday daytime.

@@gahfu Pedro Blanco did a good job playing the trapset on that album for Isanigu Punta Rock Soul-Jahs.
In this album it seems to be that the kind of drums used by Pedro Blanco was electronic with timbales in it the way it sounds. You could hear it clearly. Pedro Blanco is one the best drummers of all time.

@@gahfu I found out the true history of Isanigu band the Punta Rock Soul-Jahs. This band originally was founded in 1988 by musicians Cesar Jordao González and Simeon Pennyman Lopez in the Bronx New York. Later on, other musicians such as Victor Moreira a.k.a Kabuki, Fernando Castillo, and also Angel Plumber joined the group in the same year of 1988!!! Then between 1989 and 1990 some other members joined Isanigu. Rolando Castillo, Guillermo Cuéllar Álvarez, Pololo, Augusto Ávila a.k.a Rodillas, Chocola, Elmer Morales, Carlos Sánchez, and Isabel Blanco Chivis. They made history in the Garifuna community in New York City.
