It will be okay WARRIOR we will win this battle 💚 just keep God first he will never leave you and everything that he does is for a reason and it’s all for his Glory!!! I’m praying for you dear 🙏 Stay strong know that God is with you !! I had my av fistula surgery on 8/31/21 and I will be starting dialysis soon but we got this 💪🏼💚🙏 #kidneywarriors
thank you for this video and to the patient for allowing herself to be used for education. this is very helpful as a phlebotomist this is one of the things i have to learn and be aware of not to take blood from arms with av fistulas.
Thank you for this information. I have Lupus and my I've had kidney failure twice already. I've been told that there's a good chance that dialysis is in my future. It scares me. But, watching this has steadied me a bit.
First time I've seen someone else who has had their fistula transposed like mine! My scar is a lot messier though as I got infections and took a long time to heal.
Has ur dialysis started? My father is also getting prepared since he has already told to make the fistula 😢 but if he tries hard and by God's grace this get delayed (if the creatinine level gets lower)... Kindly say how's the process
I remember my first time with the thrill and bruit in school and was also like "HOLY S*** ITS GONNA POP WHAT THE HECKIN HECK IS THIS A HUMAN THING" and my preceptor taught me about AV fistulas and thrill and bruit. I havent seen as many fistulas these days since switching to ED, mostly HD ports and PD. So if I have a student or preceptee and a fistula patient who is okay to have students observe, I'm ALWAYS like "yo bring your stethoscope im about to show you the coolest sound youll ever hear on a human person that science and surgery created to save lives"
Excellent Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Reyameron Linkify Blitzkrieg (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning how to avoid dialysis and boost your kidney health without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend Sam after many years got great success with it.
Getting an Arteriovenous fistula done (Thanks Covid-Omnicron for messing up my life) this video made me thinking of puking....LOL. But am sure glad I am knocked out so not to be around to watch the doctors cut me open. Remember all... 3 doses of Pfizer does not guarantee that one wont have Covid. Stay safe! Peace out!!
hi my father is a dialysis patient since 2013 i found out today that his arm/hand with fistula is swollen. what do we need to do? hoping for your response. thank you☺️
Generally keeping the hand/arm above the head will help. Use a pillow if necessary. If that doesn't reduce the swelling, see his doctor. They can do an Ultrasound-guided compression which compresses the fistula and blocks blood flow to the damaged blood vessels.
Why don’t you ask your doctor??? I had my av fistula surgery on 8/31/21 and it was swollen and a little red I call my surgeons office and he spoke to me over the phone and told me that if it didn’t get better then just go to his office without a appointment! I would highly suggest that you call your doctor and talk to them or make appointment to ask questions about it to them !! God bless you and stay strong you got this kidney warrior 💚💚💚💚💚
I know you posting is 1 year old..but if you read this comment I am curious about what you meant when you said "a line". .what is it and how does it differentiate from dyalisis?

It's not what you hear it's what you don't hear. That you should be worried about.
