should check for tire rubber under both sides of wheel housings, someone, maybe not the owner, has over revved that engine during a long high rpm burnout?
@UCpv4O-osFIPBr8-RBYFEElg to do that one would have to 1. Overheat it to a ridiculous point or 2. Over rev the crap outta it 3. Run it without enough oil...with only 67 miles Sounds like an over rev, dumped clutch/burnout before fully breaking it in.
If you've never worked in the automotive industry it's full of oddballs, characters, confident SOB's and incompetent assholes. I miss it dearly. Mark cracks me up.
coney island hot dogs in worcester massachusetts has one side for food and a side for booze and a hot dog. there is a 10 foot open way to either side of the restaurant /bar...and front doors for both sides...
Was Mark an orphan? Kind of wonder because it seems a logical sense of normalcy eludes him entirely at times, while his genius of technical data, offsets the mental lapses. Given his expertise in attention to detail, the other side of the coin must suffer greatly at times. Another bunch of beautiful cars guys & gal.
I heard it! I caught it, just barely, when Worman mentioned "Driving the Gut." So I have it on good authority (read: according to old timers that cruised Eugene, OR when leaded gas was less than .80¢/gal.) that the preferred nomenclature was "Cruising the Gut." I was lead to understand the route starting somewhere around 5th & Willamette at it's northern terminus, culminating at what was then a drive-in at 29th & Willamette. F'n cool AF. But then, anti-cruising legislation was passed into law & the weenies, eggheads, & import drivers eventually won the battle. The score? 0-0. Nil-Nothin'. Everybody lost, as an American F'n pastime was summarily quashed. I remember the same exact thing happened on (quite literally) Main St. Peoria, IL. sorry about the sour grapes, but damn! It's as American as an F'n 440 Six-Pack! F were they thinking?
Cruising was the American Pastime, I’m glad that I’m old enough to be part of the cruising generation. I miss parking lots full of cars , meeting people with similar interest, meeting girls , supporting local businesses and occasionally supporting the local PD . I agree with you, everyone lost 😞 😡
why on earth is coca cola blurred in the kitchen? are you telling me you guys called coke and they said "nah, we dont want any free advertising, blur us out..."
Sticky weights in the middle. that's called static balance, not the best way to go. weights on the outside and inside of the rim is called dynamic balance. way better balance.
what happened to Holly? ?? Was Darren hazing her because of plot for the show or was that just an ignorant and sexist and it made her very hurt!!! please tell me Holly is still working there behind the camera?!!!
You’re right but the quality of the entire restoration is far above oem anyway: panel alignment, stick on wheel weights, cut and buffed etc. Not sure if the suspension paint was originally a flat or semi-gloss because all the original stuff I saw was worn out from the elements. Bottom line is that I guess I doesn’t really matter because it’s no longer original anyway once it’s restored. As much as I can appreciate the quality of their restorations, I’d honestly be afraid to drive and treat the thing like it’s supposed to be. Be too worried about getting rock chips on my glossy Dana with period correct assembly paint marks😁
Thank you for uploading this season
Awesome. Thanks for the upload guys!
Cafe jokes are not cutting the mustard.
oh man i cried when i saw how many pieces that motor came apart in
that was way sad 😞😞

I remember the mexican jumping beans at payless in roseburg ore in the early 70's too. I just had to share that lol
Nice ! Blood 🩸 and diamonds 💎
There is no way the previous owner couldn't know that the bottom end blew out...that is one unmistakable sound and smoke show!

Trying to keep up with a Prius.
The motor with the rod out, obviously someone has done a burnout with it.

Didn't you and Josh build the motor?
The text message about the black stripe was supposed to be in the morning but the time on the text was sent at 5:00pm

Sweating details of paint dabs but you painted the housing wrong to begin with? These housings were never that glossy!

@@fishsquishguy1833 No one goes to Graveyard cars for a Concours restoration. You would loose 35 points right off the bat for an undercoated chassis!
Who the fu$@ is Barbara his ex
It's a line from the movie Night of the living dead.
Great show but I just wish Mark was as funny as he thinks he is.
Why are you guys uploading the same episode twice??//?????? FFS
