    I think people hate on him because of Lavar, if we just look at his game on the court, I see a special player. One of the best passers, great rebounder and defender, just needs to work on his shot and be more aggressive going to the basket.

    • @ellisgill1337
      @ellisgill1337 6 лет назад +4

      Basketball FanForLife when he is aggressive, he is def a problem. He and his youngest brother have great ball control at the rim.

    People forget Lonzo was actually a good defender. He has a nice all around game (RIP that shot though) he can pass, rebound, and defend all at an elite level while being a rookie

      2pac Most_Wanted ?? No one cares about defense? You dont know shit about basketball. And If you did; you would realize that the Thunder performed worse after his injury. Their offense was even worse after his injury, Rachel Nichols had a whole chart of how much his play affected that team.

    He can shoot. He just had to get his confidence up like so many other rookies do. He was 1 of a handful of nba players who averaged 10/7/7 on the season. I would say that’s really impressive for a rookie. He’s only going to get better.

    If he had a consistent floater I think he'd solve most of his problems. Most of his turnovers is when he gets caught in the in between game when he's running P&R. If he had a floater he wouldn't try to bail himself out with passes so often.

      Kingston Herbert he’s already close to becoming a top 10 pg. defense A, offense C+ this year imo. Kid’s gonna be nice for years to come. Just needed to get bigger. Too fragile his rookie campaign. If he wasn’t injury bugged, he would have exploded more second half of the season. He was snapping by December for real for real. Get that 3 pt % up a little, strength will get his fg % up around the basket. Lakeshow gonna surprise people this year. Stay tuned.

    • @kingstonherbert1519

    Top 5 pg once he hits his peak .most underrated part of his game is defense . he will end up bein a lockdown defender which is HUGE at his position . add to the fact his overall game . once he gets more confidence in his shot it is a wrap . with lebron and co i think its very realistic he could avg 11+ assists this year easily . i think his stat line this year cpuld be something like 13 ppg 10-11apg and 8rpg . will get close to a bpg and a steal or 2 a game .

    see a lot of people are just looking at his overall shooting % and making their final judgement based off that. yeah he finished at 36% from 3 but lets not forget the couple months where he was shooting under 20% from deep. He went a good period of time where he shot over 40% from 3. His shooting % from both the 3 and free throw line will go up this season, i have no doubt about that. His confidence will be a lot higher this year and having his childhood idol playing alongside him will really help him with that. I am predicting his numbers by the end of the year will be somewhere around 15/7/9 with 40% from 3 and 70% from the line. He will get to the line a lot more this year, giving him a chance to get into a rhythm. He only shot like 60 free throws or so all year, he will get there more.

      eric ponce i believe we are gonna witness a whole new Lakers team this season, it's gonna be a whole new system, quite like the opposite of a 3 pt shooting team, they will base their team off of defense, and physicality bro, what do you say?

      Yeah we will be physical, thats how you beat Golden State. You have to knock them off their spots because once they get into a rhythm forget about it. The additions of Mo and Svi will definitely help our shooting struggles too. We need to resign Lopez though, as of now we do not have a starting center.

    Everyone hates on Lonzo because of his dad. He seems like a very humble person though. Hope he succeeds in New Orleans.

    SuperStar in the making....He's gonna be closer to %40 from 3 this year...and his defense is only gonna get better with McGee and lebron back there.....

    I never liked Lonzo, and even more so Lavar, but I think alot of the criticism tossed at him is silly. Sure, he has an unorthodox shooting motion, but he's a lot more than just that. He's deceptively economical with his movements, and I don't agree with the opinion that his dislike for physical contact makes him a liability in the NBA. He's not the typical player who will beat you with brute strength, but watch him closely and you can see how quick of thought he is. You can teach someone to be physical, but you can't teach someone to think.
