I've been using StobeonV2 flat mount on stratospheric craft for 10years. Selectable flash and colors. These bulbs have a wider beam footprint but weigh a bit more- they look good. Keep the great videos coming.

I usually don't ask things like this but when i saw "stratospheric craft" i just had to. I know absolutly nothing about this topic, been into flying crafts for years and never got this excited to want to learn more about something. Do you have any good reads or origins of information i can look into to get into just learning about stratospheric crafts like you mentioned. I thought it would be best to ask you than searching through a bunch of weather balloon information if i used google. It sounds like your craft is much, much more than just a weather balloon.

Lidl currently has a box with shrink tubing on offer, at least here in Germany. Great tip about the car lights!

an underrated issue... I made a variant of your vtail plane and nearly lost it on a 1mile mission. litearlly could not see it at all past like 600m. I got worried and had to hit RTL and was SO thankful it successfully flew itself back. I am definitely going to add nav lights so i can see the damn thing next time.

Nice, thank you for the video. You could put (affiliate) links for equipment that you used in video description.

Я ранее пробовал использовать такой же Mini LED Controllers с led лентой. У меня были сильные помехи на видео линк 5,8 гГц, и GPS видел меньше спутников. Сборка была квадрокоптер, - возможно из за близости компонентов.
I have previously tried using the same Mini LED Controllers with LED tape. I had strong interference on the 5.8GHz video link, and the GPS saw fewer satellites. The assembly was a quadrocopter, possibly due to the proximity of the components.

Whats the plan for a upcoming build video? Well We see You are capable of flying and recording your plane from diffrent plane.
Have you ever thought about a carrier with a smaller plane or do you stick only for these type of build technic? I mean like only 1.6m pusher or tractor, not these other types of EA's builds.

Hi there I'd use electrical tape as it has some flexibility and a better glue

@videoleech He might be in the USA, we dont have any more Depron here anywhere you look. Unless you pay someone 200$ for a couple boards. I use Dollar Tree foam board, the stuff that doesn't have paper backing. Works just as well just not as light but everyone else I talk too uses it since Depron is rare as gold. I guess you could have someone cut the pink XPS insulation boards down to a acceptable height but its not worth it unless you have the machines to accurately cut foam board.

Thanks for the video - needed an in expensive strobe light for my ROV boat project - this is perfect (10 for $5)
Does the little led controller have a memory?

I bought the controller but the lowest speed I get is about 2 Hz (twice a second). How do you do two pairs of two lights flashing at different times? Do you run the two lights in parallel? Do you use two controllers? If two controllers, how do you synchronize their timing so their flash times are separate?

    • @AeroStuffFPV
      @AeroStuffFPV  10 месяцев назад +1

I use two controllers, but their timings are off. They're not synchronized, the offset is somewhere deep in the microseconds so after a while, the synchronized flashes look different.

Thank you. I was able to get to a 1 Hz (once per second) flash rate. Looks good.@@AeroStuffFPV

Thank you for highlighting these powerful and very affordable strobes. Dad and I starting using these in our thermal motor gliders after you shared their use a while back. We use them in daylight to help us keep track of our sometimes high flying craft and they are the best we have every used. Thanks!

Watch my latest build video (of this plane) It's at around 223K views at the moment.
The installation part is in there!
