Hey there, first of all thank for posting this. I followed the instructions and it looks pretty good. My problem ist that my circles dont have the same size and I googled but I still dont see to understand. .. Anyway nice work. Greets from Germany.
madalina stefania Preda if you pull from the side margins, you'll be able to set guidelines. set them equal distance. then hold alt and shift when making circles to get even and similar size circles
I'm stuck at around 5:48 where you cut out the parts on the color overlay layer only. I understand the concept (as you explained it to +Katrina Pyne) but I don't understand how you use the rectangular marquee to do the cut with the shortcuts you use.
Can you be a little more explicit about this part on how you do it? You're the only one on RUclips that has such a good circle infograhic tutorial. I can send you my file with what I've done up to that point if you can't remember what exacts steps you took if it helps.

Ok, lets do this :)
first off, you do understand there are two circle layer for each circle right? the white one and the colored. Now to divide the portion into 75%, 62.5% and 50%, i need to remove just as much from "colored" circle layers. Notice how i placed the blue/cyan margins in center of circle horizontally and vertically. By placing the margin, the rectangular tool snaps right on to it when im close. Thats easy way to delete out exactly 75% and 50%.
For the 62.5%, which is 5/8, i used linear marquee tool and pressed shift when drew lines. Holding shift lets me draw angles in exact 1/8 of circle, or every 45 degree from 0 degree to 360 degree. Kabeesh? let me know ^_^

Great video! Question for you though: At roughly 5:30 when you start to cut out pieces of the circles, how do you remove colour but leave blending option effects where the piece has been removed? Random thought but it's been bugging me! Thanks
Katrina Pyne Well took me a while to figure it out too after you mentioned. Notice how there is two separate layers for each circle. One with effect "Color overlay" and the other with "Drop shadow" and "Bevel" for each circle. I cut out the parts on the color overlay layer only, leaving the shadow and bevel on the circle intact.

how to delet only the color. Because when i select with rectangular tool it delete1/4 my circle
Cornelius Putra Bhagaskara that's why I have two separate layers for color and for circle shape. So when I delete I only delete the color layer. In your case, make a white circle layer underneath and you'll be fine
A nice concept and pretty infographic but this is not very useful if you're dealing with percentages like 17% or 21% rather than 50% and 75%.

aisyah aisy Humaira Yea, you are right. I didn't add any music to this video because it was my first video, and was worried about copyright issues and other problems. If you have any questions or parts where you didn't understand in the video, feel free to ask :)

+mikaku Nope to that either. I was unsure of how to do audio guide when I created that video and for the future, I'm not looking forward to do so either. One reason, I believe it might take double the effort to do that as of creating this video, and second reason, English isn't my first language, so it probably won't sound as good as other big tutorial channels. But I'll be more than glad to answer any question through comments :)
If I had a quarter for every one of these 'tutorials' without audio, i'd be a wealthy man.. Why make a damn video if you're not going to provide audio? That's why you have so few subs

Thank you. The purpose of the video was for your second comment. I made these videos as hobby and not for money. I was self taught and if you learned thing or two, I'm very glad. On the bright side, I made that while ago and I don't make "tutorial" videos anymore. Happy Thanksgiving to you too 😊

It would be easier to edit the one you already have created instead of following the video to do it from scratch, especially since there is no audio to help... It would take me hours to do what you didi and I'm still not sure without audio instructions

Put some god damn audio in the video. I watched so many tutorials, and then I watched yours. Its good, but without audio it is pointless. Why would you make 56k people waste their time on something like this??
